LAP3 Turbo Upgrade R&D Results

The most powerful Stinger GT in the world visited us again. 620WHP & 540WTQ was the highest number we hit during R&D process, and It's been performing perfectly where we finalized the mapping @ 593WHP & 548WTQ(601.8PS & 75.77kgm) keeping it conservative for the stock motor & internals. The customer came back to make a bit more power and left with 607WHP & 580WTQ. More importantly it picked up *additional 25-50 WHP & WTQ throughout the RPM!

Before the twin turbo upgrade, this particular vehicle was running LAP3 Pro-Tuner Map3, making 477WHP with stock turbos. Take a look at the powerband of our XT26 Turbo upgrade vs. the stock turbo. With our turbo upgrade & ECU tuning, the powerband is silky smooth. It also has superior torque curve over the stock turbos' powerband throughout the entire powerband, delivering superior drivability without any additional spool time or turbo lag. It simply outperformed the stock turbos in every way.

When will the turbo kit be for sale? any more details price? components on kit?

Great results. Is this still running stock fueling system with meth? are you doing anything else to compensate for LPFP?

The stock fueling system is plenty. Otherwise, we would have upgraded them.

Ok good to know ... have you been able to get an update on pricing? Components of the kit ? When it will be released ? Also you can run this kit on pump gas correct ?

The owner of the 700BHP Stinger GT recently sent us a video clip to share with the community, racing against a high 10sec car, BMW M5 F90.
600WHP+ BMW F90 M5(4350lb) vs.
600WHP+ Kia Stinger GT2 AWD(4150lb) w/ LAP3 Twin Turbo Upgrade & ECU+TCU Tuning

BMW advertises the M5 ~600BHP, but it's highly underrated as it makes up to 625WHP stock on dynojet.

Shifting is fast and it very crisp. It also broke into 100mph+ trap speed for a 1/8 mile run.
The owner may have let off a bit early before 1/8, so we will try get some more videos from the customer later. So far he is absolultely loving the upgrade we have done, and the car put down about 10,000 miles since the upgrade and tuning.

Another news is that we are doing another Turbo Upgrade in a week or two.
This Stinger is RWD, and will be powered by LAP3 XCargot XT26 & XT30 Turbos.

The last month video only showed slow acceleration to show the new shift points @ 7000-7500rpm.
This is a full throttle acceleration video, which we posted on our facebook page a few weeks ago, but not on the forum.

Weird that you're tuning ones and twos when there's potentially dozens of customers siting right here waiting on an update.

The 490WHP Stock Turbo record via ECU Tune was posted a few days ago.

We will be making a separate post about it later.

The Pro-Tuner is still paired with the ECU tune for the customer to change maps on the fly.

It's not just about the power it makes on the dyno, but the drivability has improved significantly.

Spool up & response time is much quicker. It is definitely faster than the Pro-Tuner by itself.

Guys tork motorsports said on a video that transmission can hold bettween 800 and 850 lbs of torque so you should be able to even hit 700 hp with no problem but of course there would be engine wear but it happen any time you add power to a car but the engine and transmission would hold just fine you would differently need a high pressure fuel pump to keep up with fueling
