I’m looking to upgrade to a lap3 ECU stage 1.5 tune. 91 octane is the highest available where I am at, has anyone ran e30 mix with 91 on stage 1.5? If so have you ran into any problems down the road?

I’m running 1.5 tune on E30/91 octane. The tune is too aggressive for the octane so I’m also running JB4 on map6 with it to decrease boost.

How much boost are you running now? And would you recommend a flex fuel kit

16-17 lbs with zero corrections.

I recommend the Flex kit if you’re running E85.

Having same problem i also have jb4 how do you decrease boost ?

Map6. Set 1500 rpm to 0, the the rest what ever u want to put.

Ok so after putting 0 at 1500 rpm all numbers entered will subtract boost ?

Don’t even think about ECU tune if octane is limited. JB4 alone is more than enough to create actual knock with boost alone. You have absolutely no room for extra timing before you go for CPI or WMI+E30.

Already have Lap 3 1.5 tune trying to reduce boost not add boost.

Good. Try to target a 16-15 psi boost curve then the log should be pretty clean with 91+E30. It will still be fast and safe at the same time. Also it might be time to do more research on local fuel stations and methanol suppliers to determine WMI or CPI in the future. Lap3 1.5 is a beast tune once the octane is sufficient.

Yes runs really strong up to about 5500 rpm then seems like struggles for fuel after that so going to taper down boost after 5000 rpm's . Been looking at wmi kits since don't have any e85 stations within 40 miles.

Yes. Start after 0 at 1500, start with 2 psi and log. I’m currently sitting at -3 psi and seeing 17-19 psi on 91/E30 mix. Clean log 0-1.5 corrections.
Then if I have access to 93/E30 mix, I could just go map 0 and let 1.5 ecu tune does it thing.

subtracted 1 lbs of boost up to 5500 rpm then 2lbs of boost after runs great on 93 octane, what kind of boost do you see running on map 0 ?

20-21 psi with the ecu tune.

Your fuel trim looks little better than mine, thinking it's my tune because when i run stock ecu with jb4 running same amount of boost my fuel trim never goes above 40 and does not cut out at high rpm's believe running out of fuel using the lap 3 tune.

Here’s my log
The ECU psi is what I'm looking for I got the fuel for it, I will send this log to Lozic and see if he could mimic the curve
