LAP3 Pro-Tuner - 540BHP New Stock Turbo Record

The LAP3 Pro-Tuner allows you to take care of the cat efficiency CEL when you upgrade the primary down pipes.
We will get some more photos soon.

Any luck on the photos from the turbo side?

Also will you be doing ones with HFCs?

Many have asked what the LAP3 Pro-Tuner is capable of. Our beta tester Jesse P. TK Tec from TurboKits.com took his GT1 AWD Stringer to the track last weekend, and was able to make two passes. The time slips are posted for you guys to see. The vehicle made a 12.1sec pass with the LAP3 Pro-Tuner 93 Octane tune, and it sure will see high 11s with our next mode with more aggressive mapping! The RWD platform should be able to make mid to high 11sec passes, as it makes ~40WHP more than the AWD models with extra 10% drivetrain loss. The vehicle has yet to try the Mode4 at the track, so there's a lot of potential left in it :)

Jesse's facebook post: "TurboKits.com sets the new 1/4 mile AWD World Record for the 3.3TT GT1 AWD Stinger. Running our prototype Intakes, FMIC, Piping, Downpipes and Secondary Pipes along with the LAP3 Pro-Tuner on Mode 3 w- 93oct pump gas, we ran a solid 12.13 ET at 116.78 MPH and then backed it up with a 12.19 ET at 117.64 MPH. We had just switched to higher octane fuel and ready to get the all around world record with Mode 4, but the track got rained out. Next Sat, we try again!"

117MPH trap is good for mid-high 11's no problem. Need to get that 60ft down a bit and youre in there.

Yep, wish we would see some 1.6x 60fts

That's going to take a WAY more aggressive launch control that the AWD cars can fully take advantage of than the current Fisher-Price version that we are blessed with.

If the ProTuner is similar to the korean version then the Map3 is a quite slow setting compared to Map4.
Map4 is the real deal, way faster.
Can't wait to see the 1/4 miles times with the Map4 setting.

Agree, we may never see sub 1.8 60 foot with our transmissions. I raced a heavily modified manual Evo with 4 slicks and he ran a 1.79 60 foot on the way to a 11.78 @ 115 mph.

it's hard to say until someone starts messing with the tcu, increases the boost/launch rpm, throws on some slicks, and blows up the transmission lol we just don't know what it can handle yet.

If you want a 60' around 1.6 seconds, you need:
1x Fred Flintstone
1x Barney Rubble
1x Floor Delete

If you want a 60' in less than 1 second:
1x Scooby
1x Shaggy
1x Scary ghost

That's a bad 60ft for that car, IMO. I used to have a stage 3 2001 Audi A4 (~380hp) and I cut a 1.79 60ft on street tires (and spun). I only ran a 12.7 @ 110.

I think you are right. The Stinger won't even give you full throttle until 10 MPH. It gives about 10% per 1 mph. Change that would give a few hundredths.

Here's another LAP3 Pro-Tuner remapping result:

476WHP KIA STINGER GT 3.3T

483ps/72.74kgm (476whp/526ft-lbs of torque!)
The only mods are LAP3 Primary Downpipes, Meth Kit, and intakes.

The result is fantastic! With our advance technology paired with our tuning experience and knowledge, the LAP3 Pro-Tuner remapping has been making more power than any tuning solution on the market. As always, the smooth power-band is unmatched when it comes to fine tuning.

Those are excellent results!

So are you intending to produce the Primaries with HFC's and can you please post more pics from the turbo side flange.

I am interested in one with a high quality HFC like a 200CELL HJS HFC, can you make it?

Also, please post some pics of the opening that connects to the turbo.

How are you getting rid of the CEL since you are running cat-less?

Yeah I would be interested in HFC as well considering I to have to deal with emittions here in CT.

I'm not wanting to push the limits on my motor, but I would like to install primaries. Can you setup a "stock" tune, and just let the primaries make all the gain?

I've lost an engine here and there from tuning, I'm tired of wondering which part will go next
