LAP3 just posted 600WHP Stinger GT

Odd...why wouldn't they leave the complete run? Instead they mashed up all runs together and can not tell actual gains.

Either way.... pretty crazy with a single turbo

The turbo is spec'd to 450-850HP. With 15% drivetrain loss, the max WHP is 722.50 and min WHP of 382.50. Honestly mixed about this since the total cost for parts is over $3,000 ($1,639.99 for Turbo and $1,200 for LAP3) excluding labor, the custom turbo installation and other small parts. Definitely cool but would be even cooler if it was done with stock turbos (not sure if it's even achievable or not).

The problem with these big turbo setups is that the spool up is very late so you're stuck with a 3L NA engine for most of your daily driving, unless you floor it.

Anybody know what that spoiler is called? or where we can purchase it?

It's called the Sequence Spoiler.
No idea who sells it.

So it starts making power around 4k? Sounds like it is only good to for being a dyno queen. Plus what is the deal with the fugly wing on the back?

About 600 hp peak and 50 hp less than stock up to 4000 rpm.
Be a good drag car once you get out of first gear.

ty!

@xot1 are there any hybrid turbos in Korea? Wondering what those can do with a lap3 ecu tune.
Johnny Tig in AU did one back in July but havn't heard any results.

Wonder if it interferes with vision out the rear window?

Then when you do hammer it, ya better have some space.

I hope you're either experienced with body and paintwork or know someone who is.

Spoiler ships unpainted, and will require you to drill holes in the trunk to install
As is the nature of fiberglass products, slight prep work may be needed before paint and installation.

I was thinking the same. I'd be more impressed if this was done with the stock turbos.

Lol. So they went backwards? They posted a 620whp Stinger almost a year ago...
It’s a shame they keep focusing on big turbos but still won’t release the ECU tune for stock turbo Stingers.

That's because on stock turbos, so far ECU tunes haven't produced better results than piggybacks.
