Hello all, I have noticed that when departing a lane on the right side the sound of the alarm is just odd now, left departure warning sound is normal. Has anyone else had this issue? Also does anyone know which specific speakers is used for departure warning?

Its a shittier sounding departure warning,
I know this is nothing to some of you but its bugging the shit out of me.

Is it at least unique to lane departure? For the first year of ownership the car would randomly "ding" at me while driving but display no warning or light or anything, leaving me distracted trying to figure out WTF it was dinging about.
I figured its the "keep hands on wheel" warning, but it sounds like every other warning chime the car gives you, and since my hands ARE always on the wheel, the notification disappears before I can see it. Still bugs the shit outa me.

Can you capture both the sound for left departure, and the sound for right departure?

Being able to hear both would be more beneficial to those listening.

Your video sounds about correct to me.

Which audio system do you have in your car?
The nine speaker, or the 15 speaker Harman kardon?

I'm fairly certain that my left lane departure warning sound comes from both my left door, and the center channel.

And the right lane departure warning sound comes from both the right door, and the center channel.

Fairly certain, but not 100%. Will pay close attention next time.

Thanks for the reply! I actually sorted it out! So the lane departure warning kinda sounded like it had a cold and had a raspy voice (best way I can say it). For anyone in the future reading this post with a rough sound. What I did is completely reset all system defaults of the car, reset the infotainment center, the digital gauge screen(pry did nothing) and also disconnected my cars battery for 30 minutes. Turned it on, boom shitty sound gone. Sounds normal again.

I kinda heard a very slight rasspiness in your youtubr video. But very slight.

Glad it worked out with just a reset.
