Kia Stinger May Have Model-specific Emblem

I believe a more upscale emblem would serve the Stinger well. The current KIA logo screams cheap!!
yes, many of us are not a fan. then again some want to sport the emblem just because it's not a premium looking logo. it kind of tells an interesting story, in a way. but i'd prefer something more expensive looking for a car that's not cheap.

I've heard military folks comment on this. While they are fine with the company name quite a few have said they would not drive a vehicle with KIA emblems. The reason is different than you may think.

Killed in action (KIA) is a casualty classification generally used by militaries to describe the deaths of their own combatants at the hands of hostile forces. The United States Department of Defense, for example, says that those declared KIAneed not have fired their weapons but have been killed due to hostile attack.

Wow, I never knew that. That's rough. I you were in any form of war you'd probably be more comfortable with Yugo on the badge.

Yeah I've read and heard that acronym used before also. The car's also named same as missile too. It's all definitely unfortunate coincidence.

The conspiracy gets deeper...;)
Kia trademarked logo "Stinger" a few days ago/earlier just this month. Separate to the previous "Kia Stinger" combo-logo.
From the search website wording...The logos below are all U.S. trademarked logos that have an image of stinger displayed inside them. Link; http://www.trademarkia.com/stinger-87329272.html

You can more officially search it here; https://www.uspto.gov/trademarks-application-process/search-trademark-databas

Hmm. I kinda like it. It looks like the tiger nose grille. So it's sort of like a little grille in a grille. :p

If the Stinger were to somehow come with this emblem I will be driving around pumping out 720 watts of "Black n' Yellow" with my personalized "BWANYE" licence plate. :D:D:D
Lol. I was thinking of getting a black stinger, putting on my batman costume, and driving with plates "BATMOBILE"

Is that pricing correct in that link? Or is it gonna be cheaper in Korea. $36,000 loaded is a crazy bargain!

Separate stinger emblem is confirmed but for Korea only. We'll get to see it when revealed at Seoul motor show on Mar 31. Reported here, here, here...so I guess you'd say that it's pretty official.
