Watched this video of what seems to be a Stinger GT2 AWD Special Edition with 3.3ltr V6 TT , at a Kia dealership in the US town of Calumet City, Illinois. I have never seen this colour anywhere, first time, so it seems it maybe a true Limited Edition colour ?

Good video. Very interesting color. I've never seen it anywhere either. When I think of "special edition" - I think of Sunset Yellow or Deep Chroma Blue. I don't know WHAT that is...

It looks like Ceramic Silver in a brighter red

it looks like the video has a filter over it, that is all

The color grading is giving a orange tint on the video, notice to color of the hand on the shifter?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Ceramic Silver with Red interior.....not a special special edition.

I have watched this video quite a few times, trying to figure out the colour, and the only colour i only seem to see everytime is a very light blue, maybe could be called Aqua Blue ? and im quite confident in that.

Prove It ?? AnyVare.
If you can prove its Ceramic Silver, i will admit im wrong..haha
:) Hmmmm, mostly via deduction of:

- Napeltons RiverCity Kia in Calumet City lists 2 stingers in inventory and one of them is Ceramic Silver
- They have another video with the same car showing a 150 point inspection
- The only colors that were shipped to the US include: SnowWhite Pearl, HighChroma Red (California Red), Micro Blue Pearl (Atomic Blue), Silky Silver, Ceramic Silver and Aurora Black. Note: Other world wide colors include: Deep Chroma Blue, Lake Stone Blue, Sunset Yellow, Panthera Metal.
- I totally agree with Waynerm002, the color balance of the camera is way off or has a terrible filter. I think the lighting from the sun in the first video is throwing it off, the car in the shop is clearly ceramic silver.

That said, I do wish they'd offer all the colors!

Yep, that's definitely a ceramic silver one. They might want to get a better camera or change the settings because people who watch that video might be expecting something different when they walk in to look at the vehicle.

Wow that really does look like baby powder blue. I bet they posted it like that because they knew people would ask questions and the video would probably go viral. I was convinced.

I sincerely doubt this is any special edition. This is marketing from the dealership - interesting choice in music, btw.

Multiple times in the video, when panning over exterior panels, etc., you'll see the color of the paint go almost white. That wouldn't happen if this were a true shade of blue, I'd think. Not sure which color it is, but I again sincerely doubt it's anything unique.

We figured out it's actually ceramic silver. I agree with @Jenny Wang - it was probably uploaded to YouTube like this on purpose...

I'd be impressed if the dealer actually made the video themselves. They probably hire some local twenty year old with a DSLR to come in, get a bunch of shots of the car then they slap whatever filters they see other people on YouTube using and don't think about accurate color reproduction. It's a trend I'm growing tired of after 20 years of video editing myself.

There is a simple way to tell about color a cast whether it is a photo or video. Find something in the image that is white or that you know is a neutral gray. If there is any type of color cast at all in those areas the color shades will be off in the rest.

A more accurate way, of course, is to put the media into an editor and using the color picker check to see the values of red, blue, and green. The numeric value of each color should be the same or close to the same. Of course, that assumes RGB color in the first place. A vast majority of web pictures and videos are RGB.

Isnt that color just the silky silver color?

its Ceramic Grey, similar to audi nardo grey, not a special edition colour just a standard factory option.

They have other videos on their Facebook page, including the Stinger inspection video AnyVare mentioned, and many have some sort of tint to them. I don't think it's intentional deception, I just don't think they're considering that the artistic aspect is misrepresenting the color that significantly. They probably just assume everyone recognizes it's been filtered, given that's such a big thing on Instragram and the like. Color issues aside, I'm impressed that the dealer puts in that level of effort to stylize their marketing media.

I would like to purchase a Stinger GT in Sepia Tone filter and 120fps slow motion please! Also have that dog tongue sticking out of the grille.
