Kia Stinger GT Sequential LED Reflectors

Looks good! Where did you get the product?

Bumping this thread, has anyone installed these?
I would appreciate thoughts on any issues, fitment & overall long term performance vs value for money.

I love these, I just wish they were plug and play. Anytime you have to splice into OEM wiring while under warranty worries me. Any idea if there is any risk running these?

Risk in voiding warranty? I don't see why it would, unless you're trying to warranty a faulty taillight in which case the dealer could say it was your fault and point to the led reflectors.

I like these too and may do this as a summer project.

I got a pair on this site, put them on my Canadian Stinger and absolutely love them. I had an issue, but Sal immediately took care of it, even during COVID-19. Absolutely great customer service and standing behind the product!!

I also hate mucking with electric wiring on the car for the same fears, plus those wires are so damn small. I used "quick splice connectors" on the stock wires, then heat shrink butt connectors for everything else. Went to HBR Freight to get a $20 heat gun and shrink coating as I wanted to ensure water did not get in.*

If you get these and do it yourself, I would recommend you allow plenty of time as you want to take it slow and easy. After you have the car disassembled, the wires threaded and connected. Give it a test. If everything works start putting it all back together, that all seems like standard logic, but the key is that after every step test all functionality.
  1. Brakes
  2. Turn
  3. Headlights
  4. Headlights + Turn
  5. Headlights + Brake
I say this as all it takes is one lose connection and some part or all of this could fail. You could have a partial connection that worked when you first installed it be then jiggled loose after assembly. There is nothing worse than having to tear it all apart and re-do all those little connections trying to find the issue. Finally, ensure there are no dangling wires near the reflectors as if they hang down, they will get melted by the exhaust.

Though you could but it and take it someplace to have them install it. But where is the fun in that.

* If you use a heat gun be careful, read the directions as it puts our serious heat (1000 degrees). I used 1472°F Extreme Heat Resistant Grill Gloves when doing this and even those got warm but wanted to protect the car and myself from the heat.

** Also worth calling out is do not do this after running the car, the exhaust is hot.. Again obvious, but hey.. ;)
