Might as well. It's not like it's very expensive - and it's a good safety feature for this reason. It's actually a good idea on all windows for this reason. You never know. A light tint won't disturb your view of the outdoors and it'll provide some safety in case the glass breaks...

It's not for everyone. For safety concerns (glass breakage) you could do a clear tint...

Great video. The only scary one is the pole side impact test which noticeably penetrates the cabin. Don't think you're getting out without an injury in that one.
