Well then here’s to 2023. May your 2022 fly.Happy New Years. Stinger fans. Christmas was a blur. Hope the next year will be as well. Retiring in 2023
Hmmmm. Craftsmanship. China. Not really two words that go together. Your beautiful Forged Tommy Armour’s are likely cast crap. Golf is a game of pride and honour. Toss that crap out and start over. You don’t want things to start falling apart on you once 2022 arrives. So I get these golf clubs. From dicks sporting goods. Tommy armour. Turns out they are made in china and the grips were just thrown on. Not lined up with the club they way one would expect. So I’ll clean up the grips and rotate the shafts and re-epoxy them aligned properly. I got them for a fraction of the price. But still for this kind of money one should expect good craftsmanship.
In that case the grips should be fine as is.Naw. They’ll be fine. Specially since I’m only a weekend duffer anyways.
It’s the ocd I have.In that case the grips should be fine as is.![]()
Good on you. Clearly you don’t have cement hands. So now I’m baffled as to the duffer handicap. We’ll get that down come 2022!It’s the ocd I have.
I actually did a club today. Really wasn’t much to it. Heat the hosel (heat gun). Give the club a twist. The head spins right off. Sand. A quick batch of glass bead an epoxy resin reassemble and voila!! I could argue it’s physically easier than regripping.

I’m a better coach than a player lolGood on you. Clearly you don’t have cement hands. So now I’m baffled as to the duffer handicap. We’ll get that down come 2022!![]()

I dunno I'd at least bring it in and ask if anyone seen a slip like it.........prolly fell out of a service techs pocket......and the number was a hastily written part number or date.Yeah, a little card whirling in the breeze as I drive up to park, and opening my door sucked it in. Why not. I'm not likely to ever know. I've thought of showing it to the tire and wheel guys, but that's such a far-fetched thing this late in the game (over a month later) that I feel silly even contemplating it.
