I'm sure there's a page in the manual that explains this, but I've also noticed it won't turn on until my engine has warmed up to a certain point. There may be other factors that are involved with it turning on the first time, like the battery charge, but this is the easiest one to keep track of.
Can anyone explain what the indicator means when it glows yellow/orange instead of green?
Thank you. That's what I was thinking, but it's nice to have some confirmation.Yellow means the conditions are not met for ISG (Idle Stop and Go) to engage, that's all.
Happened to me for about 2 months.I'm having an issue with the auto engine stop. It stopped working. When I come to a traffic light the car comes to a stop the A light on the dash comes on meaning the engine should stop but it doesn't. Any suggestions ?
I have a dash cam I bet thats the problem.Happened to me for about 2 months.
Dealer diagnosed as working perfectly.
I have a dashcam running, so I attached a battery trickle charger. It worked. My next drive with a full battery and conditions as described above, the ISG (Idle Stop and Go) engaged.
So, now and then, I hook up the battery tender- just to make sure I have a full enough battery.
