Good afternoon all,
Hope everyone is having a great week. Just wanted to start this new discussion where people can post the most up to date information for spark plugs when trying to tune the 3.3L beast! I am aware that there are older posts but as the name entails, they are OLD posts from like 2018 so i am trying to shine some light on the age old question, what spark plugs work and what are the gap measurements yall have for them? I am aware that the three main plugs being used are the HKS M45iL, "1 Step Colder" Denso's and the "2 Step Colder" Denso's but what gap sizes are being used for them? Also if you noticed, i stated what "works" because i am sure everyone has a different setup whether is be stock, race chip, JB4 Tune, or even a custom tune and by the looks of it people have also had good and bad experiences with different set ups. I am going to be installing my JB4 while running the 1 Step Colder Denso's for the first time so any information would be much appreciated. Thanks all and I hope this can help someone else who is looking for a new tune setup or looking to tune for the first time!
