Good afternoon all,
Hope everyone is having a great week. Just wanted to start this new discussion where people can post the most up to date information for spark plugs when trying to tune the 3.3L beast! I am aware that there are older posts but as the name entails, they are OLD posts from like 2018 so i am trying to shine some light on the age old question, what spark plugs work and what are the gap measurements yall have for them? I am aware that the three main plugs being used are the HKS M45iL, "1 Step Colder" Denso's and the "2 Step Colder" Denso's but what gap sizes are being used for them? Also if you noticed, i stated what "works" because i am sure everyone has a different setup whether is be stock, race chip, JB4 Tune, or even a custom tune and by the looks of it people have also had good and bad experiences with different set ups. I am going to be installing my JB4 while running the 1 Step Colder Denso's for the first time so any information would be much appreciated. Thanks all and I hope this can help someone else who is looking for a new tune setup or looking to tune for the first time!

I’ve yet to install my HKS M45IL plugs, but just some extra info for your thread. In total I spent $145 for the spark plugs from a seller on eBay, that was the absolute cheapest I could find them , other than an Amazon seller who only had 1 in stock for $21. I bought a cheap gap tool for $10 and I had to buy the feeler gauges from BMS, because they were the only ones who sold a .022mm one (probably by design). That was $14. From BMS words themselves they say the only difference between the HKS and Densos are a ~10000 mile life span difference. So with that in mind , I will probably go for the 2 step colder from Denso rather than spending the arm and leg every 35k miles.

Yea definitely M45i” is the best option but denso also has a good spark. I just installed my HKS plugs with a 022 gap and new coils so I should be trying out MAP3 when I figure out out this E30 mixture. I believe 4 gallons of E85 and 14.5 of 93 lets see how that goes

can you only run MAP3 with a E30 mix? Let us know how it went!

A lot of modded stingers with flashed ECU's have been popping up on my feed recently. Two tuners that keep popping up are Kim Jong Tuned and SleepyTuned (both have websites and Instagram that you can check out). Has anyone here in the forum used them or know about them, they seem to offer pretty cheap tuning options.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
What’s the best option for someone who’s stock? 3.3 2020. Only have a mbrp exhaust. Also would the gap for me be .22?

Seems like if you are stock then its better to stick to OEM as its cheaper and suits your stock car needs. No need to buy expensive performance parts if youre not looking to modify in a performance way. At least thats what other threads say
