I just literally got of the phone with Ron Connor the Track manager at Wild horse pass motorsport park. He just confirmed that there were no races on March 1, 2019 like the slip has on it. To confirm car #106 was registered to a Corvette.

So final conclusion the slip is fake news.

For those that advocated hard for @bal that he ran a 10.9, and for those that think its possible I have the logical explanation. @brancky3 I have the answer for you buddy since you seemed so certain about his time.

They guy got confused and accidentally jumped on someone else corvette and taught it was a stinger.

I will remove him from the list. Lets keep the basic criteria/guidelines to be on the list please to keep this from happening.

Summary that 10.9 run was fake news, I hope no one feelings are hurt. I recommend for those that defended him so blindly you have time to go back to your post a delete them or update them.

We may not see people for a bit.

For Track Results:
1. Provide picture of track Slip. Try to provide a picture of the track slip by your car number if possible, this will ensure the track slip belongs to your car.
2. Video of track run. Its 2019 and everyone owns a smart phone. Have someone record you when you make your runs. If you break a record then this is the ultimate proof that no one can deny. This is what will make your run 100 percent validated. Of course make sure you record the time at the end.
3. List all performance mods, including tires, WMI, Nitrous, weight reduction, etc......

For Dragy Results:
1.Post the dragy slip/result. Your name should match your user name or real name to make sure you used it on your car.
2. If possible have someone record you, although not required but helpful.
3. Be honest about the conditions you ran in, meaning temperatures. Winter time vs summer time. Dragy should be used more as a performance reference, rather than the ultimate 1/4 results.
4. List all of your performance mods.

List has been updated!

If you guys agree I can keep Bal at the number one spot, but I will just put Corvette? Any thoughts? Anyone agree with that?

Guys I added the criteria to be on the 1/4 list, to keep the integrity and validity of the 1/4 results. These guidelines goes for everybody, even tuners/owners/doctors/moderators. Anyone that is a human and wants to be on the list follow the set of guidelines.

Thanks for everyone involved for doing the investigation.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I think you owe Tonka an apology
I myself owe everyone an apology for not calling the track any sooner to validate the slip and inform everyone of the fake news.

This is why we need TonkaBob running this thread.

He has integrity, honesty and maturity to support the running of this thread.

I think in your haste to defend the car you tuned and it's owner you may have missed the point.

I never said whether I believed bal's time to be real or fake. My issue came from Tonkabob's refusal to put it on the list and insistence on interrogating him.

The problem with that, as I pointed out in the other thread is that no matter what Tonkabob posted no one ever questioned him. When he was running 11.8s and everyone else were in the 12.teens no one said his time shouldn't be on the list. No one told him to prove his innocence. We all just congratulated him, gave him a thumbs up, and moved on.

What I've been saying for (3?) days now is that the same courtesies given to Tonkabob should be given to anyone else. And if he can't give those courtesies he should move on from maintaining the list.

Further, I appreciate that Tonkabob is 90% of your Stinger customer base so you have a strong affinity towards him and how his car stacks up but the way you're posting here today is making you look a lot like the Tork of 2018.

Does it look bad now that he questioned the vehicle? And Stung just accused Tonka a few days ago of having more mods on his vehicle then he had listed or spoke of. yet when he questioned he said to ask other forum members of the proof? And we never mentioned you in the first place im sorry you feel guilty about it tho. I guess its a good thing we questioned the car because it was all fake news.

Back to our normal programming. We can agree the 10.9 slip was fake, well not fake just not for a Stinger.

Lets take this as a learning lesson for all of us. This is why we need the guidelines I provided, and this is why a video would be the ultimate validation.

Guys no need to beat dead horse for the guys that were defending Bal and the 10.9 time slip. I am sure some might still beleive the 10.9 is real or reachable.

Like Terry said with a JB4, full bolt ons, a 50 shot, remove like 300 pounds and good traction an a 10.9 is very easy to attain. We just need someone to do it. Any volunteers?

This summer I will be at the track with AP intakes, velossa big mouths, SSR down pipes, SSR muffler deletes, Tork OCC, JB4 on map 3, and the new Wagner intercooler. For tires I will have aftermarket wheels 19 inch with 245 up front and 275 on the rear. I am AWD. No weight reduction but the spare and junk on the car. My ultimate goal is to reach 11.9, although I think realistically I will get anywhere between 12-12.3. We will see the difference once I get the BTR ecu tune locally.

Yes!

Because though it's always a possibility that someone is lying, if we give one person the benefit of the doubt we should extend that to everyone else.

"Innocent until proven guilty" is one of the basic foundations our justice system is built on.

And we never mentioned you in the first place im sorry you feel guilty about it tho

I don't feel guilty about anything. I'm trying to help you understand how this all unfolded.

I'm actually glad all of this took place. I learned a lot about a few people, and I love learning new things.

Since dragy has shown to be off by as much as .1 (faster) should we add that you need a second dragy time within .03, or .04 hundredths to support your best run?

@TorkMe @Sales@Tork For your 11.98 run on the list it says no cats. Was that just downpipes or custom exhaust? just curious because I will have very similar mods except of course I am AWD and have a JB4 instead of your tune. I assume when you ran that time was like a year ago on stage 1 correct? You have not ran yet with the stage 2.

I am using Tork as an example but this is how it should be done. Fast forward to 7 minutes lol, we dont care about John talking we want to see the 11 second pass.

We should provide the slip with the picture of the car number and ideally a video of the run. This 100 percent validates the run. @Kato_the_kia_stinger did the same

Yeah that would not be a bad idea, to be honest I dont think it matters that much anymore since the list are separated. I personally am more concerned to keep the 1/4 track list validated than I am the dragy list.

Is still hard to keep track of the dragy runs since there are so many different factors that can net you a better time. Slope, outside temperature, summer vs winter, etc....

Dragy is still a great tuning tool and to use as a reference for power gains when modding you car. For example if you dont have access to a track or its winter time and you still want to see where you are at prior to going to the track. Like you tested you runs before and after the IC cold side piping, you also did the same before/after the SSR down pipes.

Yes this was on our own downpipes made in house and on a stage 1.5 tune basically not our stage 1 and not as much as our stage 2

Good to know so with new stage 2 tune and maybe WMI and I hope you have a set of drag radials you could possibly reach the 11.5 mark this summer? Do you plan on running WMI on your shop car?

We are hoping to be able to hit 11.5-11.6 without methanol at the strip this year. Yes we are putting it on in the future.

You implying that JB4 is behind this really goes to show a lot about your character / your business reputation. That's hilarious

JohnB is just trolling per usual. All posts made here are available for anyone with a 5th grade or higher reading level to review. My posts on the subject are pretty clear.

For the detectives: If the timeslip says 3/1/19 then a Corvette having the same number 3/8/19 doesn't seem relevant unless they confirmed the timeslip in question was actually from 3/8/19 but has the wrong date on it. Did they confirm there is a date printing error on their slip or are they saying the date was forged? Doesn't seem clear to me.

Terry, I think you're missing the point here. The point is that the dates that the slip had on them whether it be the 1st or the 15th did not exist as nights that they held the event.

Just trying to get the story here. So he took a 10 second slip from 3/8/19, and forged the date to 3/1/19? Or they are saying the entire slip is forged? That seems like a lot of work it was clearly printed out on a some sort of timeslip printer.
