I love everyone trying to "do the math" with the 10.9 driver's mods. It seems that someone who cares a lot more than I do would simply call the dragstrip listed on the time slip and ask them to verify the Make and Model of the car listed on the tech card. Looks like the DA was around 2600ft.

Thats a crapy DA. With a sweet Atco DA he could run a 10.7!

There is no volunteer admin for this thread currently. The job is open. It doesn't pay well and experience working with children is required.

I don’t deny 10s are hard to believe, but in my book that gives bragging rights to ALL Stinger owners so it’s a win win!;)

In America it’s “innocent until proven guilty” so why don’t we give EVERYONE the benefit of the doubt and congratulate them until proven otherwise. Just my $0.02 and hopes we can save one of the best threads in this forum.:thumbup:

The thread doesn't have to die. Anyone can take over managing the list as long as they're willing to spend a few minutes a week copy/pasting/posting.

Might be best for if a non-drag racer took the torch. That would eliminate any refusals by the list updater to place people above themself.

Before you know it some people will start suggesting a separate 'no Nitrous' or 'no WMI' list just so they can claim top spot again

You are a very intelligent person. You are well spoken. I have to agree and disagree with some of your comments. 10s with those mods is extremely hard to beleive, especially at a track.

The fact that someone else ran a 10’s should not give you bragging rights. There is no honor or pride in claiming something that is not real or blindly accepting it just because you own the same car.

I own a Lexus IS 300 with a 2JZ fully built. I bought that car and built it because at the time in college I could not afford a 50k Toyota Supra. I didn’t go around saying that I could have a 9-10 second car with a 1000 hp just because I seen other 2JZ owners doing it. My car was not a 1000 hp 9 second car lol, so I didn’t have nothing to brag about.

The reality is we need to stop being so dawn sensitive and emotional all the time. We need to get back to competitive essence that started all this car culture. We need to provide track results, question results that don’t look possible, question vendors on their tune and products, trying not to be biased, this is will only really push the platform forward. This will allow for us Stinger owners to really see the true and honest potential of the car.

Just being fan boys and accepting stuff we would like to be real won’t make your car faster. I guarantee @StungBlueGT2 if got the same mods as Bal and removed your passenger and rear seats you would not get a 10.9. I would bet my Lexus IS300 on it.

We need to get the competitive spirit going here. We need to hit the track and post those results/videos so we can all see what the car can do in real life situations with the mods you might have. That way people in your state areas know what it takes to get a certain time. We have people here all over the USA and the world. This is the data we want to create for the next generation of the stinger owners or new potential owners.

I am not trying to call anyone out here or be an A hole. I know I been an A hole at times and have disrespected others in here. I also have been disrespected on and others have been A hole to me. All I am saying guys were all stinger owners at the end of the day. Lets go bat shit crazy this summer, hit the track of any sort, post results/videos. Let’s have fun and be competitive at the same time.

Let’s bring life back to this forum. Question your own results and others. Challenge yourself to prove that virtual reality can be a reality. Don’t get offended when someone questions you to provide more factual data, or tell’s you to hit the track. When someone tell’s you to hit the track it should be taken as a firendly challenge not an offense.

I did. Read the 3 of the 5 previous posts for a hint of why investing the time with so much whining and BS isn't worth it.
Or read the thousand previous posts for a more complete picture.
Someone else will step up. I've been doing this for 6 months.
Angels apology list above would be a good start for the next volunteer since they have had the most feedback on how to run the list. (Excluding tork)

I wouldn't be opposed to removing the dragy list and bring it back next winter as a seperate list. We have seen dragy read a tenth fast now so we prob shouldnt mix them again.

I left Bal on the list, if everyone wants to leave him on the list, I am ok with that. I don't want to start a big argument on this. If we want to remove Bal from the list until he can provide more data, then this is the time to speak up. Otherwise he is on the list.

From now own lets try to have some basic criteria to post the results on the list. Everyone lets try to follow this guideline so we have a standard process. This will help all of us on the validity of the results. This will ensure to keep the list as validated as possible and fair for everyone. If you can't meet the below criteria then you should not be on the list. Lets keep the list separated as it now. Top 10 track results on top and top 10 dragy results on bottom.

For Track Results:
1. Provide picture of track Slip. Try to provide a picture of the track slip by your car number if possible, this will ensure the track slip belongs to your car.
2. Video of track run. Its 2019 and everyone owns a smart phone. Have someone record you when you make your runs. If you break a record then this is the ultimate proof that no one can deny. This is what will make your run 100 percent validated. Of course make sure you record the time at the end.
3. List all performance mods, including tires, WMI, Nitrous, weight reduction, etc......

For Dragy Results:
1.Post the dragy slip/result. Your name should match your user name or real name to make sure you used it on your car.
2. If possible have someone record you, although not required but helpful.
3. Be honest about the conditions you ran in, meaning temperatures. Winter time vs summer time. Dragy should be used more as a performance reference, rather than the ultimate 1/4 results.
4. List all of your performance mods.

I'm not the nitrous is cheating guy. All mods welcome.
I also just proposed we delete the entire dragy list until next winter.
Beating my own record 4 times in a row is quite dull.
Plus there are a few cars in the works that i can't compete with.
Maybe a jb4 only list? ;)

There should be no separate list for nitous or WMI. A mod is a mod regardless. As long as you can provide the track slip/video it does not matter what mods you got. You will be on the list like everyone else. If someone else wants to say your cheating because of WMI, nitrous or bigger turbos then they need to step there game up.

I completely agree and I'm glad that more people see a mod as a mod and not a way to cheat. I don't agree that you need a video in order to post a time - that's just absurd.

Not for dragy but you should for 1/4 mile time at the track. The video will 100 percent validate your run and will 100 percent remove the chance for someone to lie or cheat. It will also remove anyone from questioning the results.

We should all follow @Kato_the_kia_stinger lead. He provided the slip and the videos to back his claim up. No one on earth can deny the validity of his 1/4 result. That's how it should be, I don't see how that is absurd on 2019 to ask for a video. When everyone owns a smart phone. If you are at the track then you might as well take videos lol. @Kato_the_kia_stinger also has proof he beat a trackhawk lol, only for one run but still he managed to surprise the hell out of the trackhawk owner. The trackhawk of course had a terrible launch and then it came back and ran consistent 11 flat.

I hope you can see the benefit of having a video, its a pretty logical request.
