I think it would take 300# weight reduction and a 50-75 shot to hit high 10s with a good launch.
 
We have two pieces of information here, the mod list and the time slip, everything else is an assumption. Based on the info on the table there is no way he can run a 10.9. Now if he comes back with more explanation, like if he was running nitrous, exact weight reduction or slicks then we have another story, but up to now the 10.9 is not doable with the information we have, period.
 
Why do you keep thinking people are jealous or insecure of this list? This is supposed to be informative and the information is 100% wrong. 300# weight reduction coupled with a 25/50 shot isnt taking you there. A 125 shot possible with some bad ass slicks especially for a rwd that we ALL know have traction issues. Believe what you want. Hey did you see my 9 second pass :D

Fact is we have no idea what was really ran, or what he really has IF he got a 10 second pass.
we have everything we need, some just have a hard time accepting it.

If he did break the record and at least with the 11.2-11.3 Terry claimed he ran, how's there no video or anything? I mean he's obviously trying to do something. Why wouldn't you document it?

Oh and how does the car respond with seats out and airbag lights on etc?

I'm not calling him out but ffs, he's obviously a car person, he's trying to prove something and if he spent the time gutting the car, he took a video.

Another suspect piece of the Bal story was that he usually runs 11.2, 11.3 and after running the 10.9 he was told he needs fire gear. NHRA rules are a fire jacket at 11.49 not under 10. Plus he mentioned the "timing gear could be off" and something about the wind. Not a lot of self confidense in the story.

In brighter news a tork stage 1 tune ran a 12.09 today. Now all we need is a 1/4 mile thread.

He mentioned he ran low 11s via to me email months ago. Definitely has some weight reduction done to get 300# out of it. The 10 second slip itself seems legit but I'd like to hear more. Like get an official confirmation that it's on a 50-75 shot of nitrous as I suspect. At the end of the day though it's just another Stinger out there pushing the boundaries. I don't see why his claim is generating so much negativity.

Just cause it doesn't add up. If he used NOS it makes sence and congrats to him.

It's very difficult and time consuming to try and figure out who started what. I have set firm rules moving forward. From this point forward, report personal attacks if you want another member removed from a discussion. It's as simple as that.

Bal ran at an NHRA track. Maybe they don't follow the rules and let his 11.2, 11.3s pass with out the fire gear?
