To clarify for all, this was done on 91 octane / E85 mix, not 93.
Very nice!
Who should i give the credit to on the top 1/4 mile list?
I'll add the dragy times with an * as we won't have new strip times from NA during winter.

I forgot the guys username, but I'm pretty sure he's on here.

I spoke to Stinger33 and he is getting 12.5 secs

Well that was the shortest record holding ever. Anyone know what his speed was on the 12.07 run?

113.98mph. Based on the Dragy chart elevation went up ~25ft and then came back down by the end of the run, so maybe that played a part in the slow trap

I'm going to have to Google a 10 second Dragy screenshot so I can officially be the first Stinger in the 10s.

...or did I just ruin it? Damnit!

Have no fear! I can run faster than 12.07. My 12.03 was like a foot elev away from valid.
My 12.03s and 12.08 also had a hill in the middle and trapped just under 117.
And my 60 foot was .05 faster.
A 12.07 with a 1.95 60 foot and 114 mph trap doesn't add up. Whats his next best time?
edit: looking at the 12.07's 1000 foot times and speed this run looks spot on.

So this list is going to end up being a Draggy list? Unfortunate. I suppose there can be a list made that includes only authenticated drag strip times.

To prevent google dragy fraud we can take the screenshots from the leader board.

I won't bump any drag strip times but will add dragy to the bottom of the lists. Some people will never get to the track and it gives us something to do over the winter.

In my case there aren't any 1/4 mile tracks so I'm limited to Dragy. But then again I'm not sure I can find a flat piece of road without curves around here...

That was my problem as well. I had a Dragy for 2 days then I realized there weren't very many deserted, flat, curve less roads near me.

Heading to the drag strip on Wed now that I have my RaceChip GTS Black maxed on performance in Race mode, RaceChip XLR (throttle controller) installed and I'm running a mixture of 98 Octane. I have a GT2 RWD. Given the violent acceleration I'm concerned that running LC with no traction/stability will break loose the tires, therefore I was considering leaving Traction/Stability enabled, enable Auto-hold, XLR in Race+ mode and have my right foot ready to punch the accelerator. The XLR in Race+ mode provides instant throttle response when only depressing the accelerator a very small amount. Anyone use this setup with auto-hold? What are your thoughts and experiences? Is it possible auto-hold with traction/stability enabled and XLR in Race+ will render a faster 1/4 mile then LC?

I would go for LC. The ECU cuts throttle during launch and up to 10 MPH no matter what you do. Foot to floor = 27% throttle unfortunately. If you just have the RaceChip as your only mod you should have traction. A little spin is way better than traction control intervention. Plus the strip is way more sticky than the street. But do try AH as well. I did this in my AWD and AH was only .04 slower. (on 4 back to back tests) However your reaction time with AH will suck. If you use the same method (last yellow) you will cut a .4 or .5 light. If the car is not super warm, like full 200 oil temp you may want to make that your AH run as LC will often bog for a half second when the tranny is under 200. Have fun! I'm jealous. Our track is closed.

I think this will be the first posted Race Chip track time, right?

Appreciate the helpful tips Tonkabob. I will give it a go and report back. Your post jogs my poor memory me as to how sticky the track is compared to the street. I was almost a half sec faster on the street than the track, prior to the adding the chip. For those that are getting low 12's, on the street you will be in the high 11's. Problem is that it's tough to find a safe relatively flat road to do the quarter mile on.

How do you know 'car #173 right lane' is a Stinger, when looking at a posted time slip? o_O
True. Slips should be photoed on the car and dragy posted to leader board. But what fun would a record be if it wasn't real. I think / hope people will be honest.
