I've run 119.8mph without WMI on E30. He claims 92 octane, fastest we've gone on 91 octane was around 117mph but I don't push it on 91 octane often. So if true maybe that is where his mods are helping? A key difference between BMS and all other tuners on this platform in how we share results is we always post the recorded engine data to support every slip or dyno. What good is a 120mph run or 460whp dyno if you're slowly knocking apart the engine to get there?

Well if I gave a shit about the track tab you would have no problem finding me, pumpkin. You know where to find me scroll top down I'll make it easy on ya.
Do this you Diva !!! Even my wife hits the track LOL
Look at below videos I hit the track with all my cars .....No need for a draggy buddy I hit the track and live happy with my results....You keep pumping yourself up with those draggy winter times...Talk to me when you hit the track and tell me your times and please don't lie lol if you ever hit the track....I plan on hitting 11's with a JB4 at the track with no WMI something I believe no one has done yet.....

RWD is all about traction. With 120mph traps it's simply a matter of a high 1.7 60' to get in the mid 11s. Funny thing about having a dragy is the numbers speak for themselves. As it stands you're quicker than he is. :)
He also ran an 11.86 but slope 1.3% and also ran a sub 4 second 0-60. Once he finds some flat spots we will see the first RWD Dragy 11.8 and 3 second 0-60.

lol WMI is not a big mod, and it can be turned off. It's probably giving a slightly higher benefit than your FMIC.
Lap 3 says their WMI was 50 HP. Terry with out WMI 12.3, with WMI 12.0 approximately (both with stock wheels / tires.). So .25- 3 tenths sounds like 30-50 HP. FMIC is 10 HP and dropped my times by .07.

Catless = WMI on power
Wheels / Tires = FMIC on times (Slight edge to wheels and tires)
Both have Intakes. Mods are very similar.

I agree there is no way the intercooler adds the performance wmi does I am sorry .....especially in a 1/4 mile run ...

Matching apples to apples my best time without WMI was ~12.04@119.8mph, best time with WMI was ~11.91@120.7mph. Both on E30. WMI run had a little more boost, slope, and traction.

The WMI is a huge advantage if you're on bad fuel like 91 octane. If you're on really good fuel like 30% E85 very little benefit. This should not be that hard for you to grasp. :)

Being fully catless and with a muffler less exhaust system, in 30F weather, I'd certainly hope it goes faster than it has. Did he install Tork "MultiAir" Valve Springs on it too? :)

I'm sensing some childish jealousy coming through! Tork does have mufflers and last night was in the high 40s (which we can repro at the track in Seattle as well) so you can put your fantasies aside.

That's a fair comparison so just roughly twice as effective as FMIC but probably not quite as effective as catless.

Hey speaking of which, tell him to get his ass on the forum and post more info on those mufflers. He briefly mentioned them on IG and then never said anything else.

He put his mufflers back on? Why?

PS I'm pretty sure the only fantasy Terry has is in regards to traction lol.

No I really just wanted to make sure I mentioned the recent engineering tragedy that was the Tork Fiat valve spring "upgrade". It's all in good fun though. Until one breaks apart in your engine. :)

I am really glad he finally saved up enough for a dragy. Those speedo video runs where he would claim times based on the video was pretty amateur hour. Hopefully next he learns how to datalog his runs and post the basic tuning data with them so his customers can appreciate how aggressive or not aggressive the tuning is for the time.

He has a new axelback with mufflers that he is producing.

They look insanely light weight and he claims there's no drone, to boot. But I have serious doubts about that no drone claim.

When something seems too good to be true...
