Kia regret

^ Maybe; wonder how different the criteria is for JPD and CR.

For JDP, while the lux brands do, overall, score higher, the delta isn't as big with the mainstream brands.

Kia is ranked 5th in JDP's latest CSI ranking - ahead of Toyota, Honda and Hyundai.

You just have a crap dealership in your area.

What does it matter to the dealership why your grab handle broke (as long as there was no abuse)?

They would just get reimbursed by Kia corporate.

Like I've reiterated, I wasn't saying the brand itself is horrid. But when MANY Kia dealers generate so many poor results (around my area), it makes things difficult. I can't just go another 3 miles down the road to the next dealer, like I can here in Michigan, with the Big 3. I'm also not saying I haven't had a poor experience here and there elsewhere either, amongst the 23 vehicles I've had. Just that none have been as absurd.

That's the winner for a stealership blame game. Tint? Because it goes up and down next to the grab handle? Have you shopped around for a good Kia dealership? Mine is a good one. I'm sure that two out of three service centers are decent to good ones.
My local dealership is great (not the original purchase dealer)

Had the same problem with my 22. It was broken when I bought the car. They ordered the part, waited 6 weeks. I took the car in to have it fixed, after a half hour the service rep came out and said there was an upgrade to the part and I would have to wait another 6-8 weeks. It amazes me that nobody at the dealership noticed this when they got the car.
My R8 V10 plus has a dead window motor can't take down drivers side window in a freacking 220k super car and they say part needs to come from Germany and it's been months they only have fixed the problem partially still waiting... so no! Does not happen only with Kias.
