Hello all,

I was wondering how to get Kia Access on my new 22 GT2?

Any help is appreciated.

There's a few ways to do it. You can do it from the Kia Access app or from Kia Owners Portal. You'll need to create an account and provide your cars VIN. I think that's it if I remember correctly.

I've gotten that far, but the app is not showing up. Its asking me to enter a pin from the Kia Access app on the screen20220501_151224.webp

Damn, it's been a few months. Can't quite remember what comes next. Might have to go into Uvo, since that's what Kia Access used to be called.

I just purchased a 2022 a few weeks ago and this is correct. The system was down, nation-wide, for a handful of days, but seems to be working great now. If you have any issues, reach out to me. The process is fresh in mind from just a few weeks back. Take care.

Wait so you can’t look up the Kia access app on the App Store or google play?

No, I have it for my K5. The app does not show up on the screen in my Stinger.

What happens if you add the vin number of your stinger to the Kia access app on your phone after you put the vin number in theory it should prompt you on the dash to put in the pin the app provides you

When I bought my car, the system was down nation-wide. I was able to download the app and get everything setup on the app, but nothing would work until I went into "UVO" app on the car. Once you launch on the car, it will ask for the access code from the app and link everything together.

Damn didn’t know that I bought my 22 stinger a few months back so I never had to deal with uvo at all but hopefully there’s a fix for the Kia access app cuz it really is a good app when it works
