Bad Khar Tunerz, never again

Your order has already been cancelled and refunded
Typical lead time to have refund back into your account is 1-5 days depending on the bank

Customers that state "I will never buy from you people again" are blacklisted from ordering and blocked from viewing any new news or products coming from us
Sorry the situation that led to this
-Your apology is way too late...
-Yes, customers tend to get frustrated and say things when they are given false info and promises...

You seem to be having issues fulfilling orders, as well as servicing the customer after the purchase. This isn't a 'past couple weeks' thing, either. [another fairly recent forum example below]

Not happy... Anybody have good contact info for the guys at KharTunerz

How does the car community blacklist you as a reseller? Sorry the situation has led to this.

If you do not wish to purchase from us that is totally okay and your choice to do so
We are not perfect and definitely spots in our service that need to be fixed

This is how you respond to customers? Lack of accountability, communication, and “customer service” is missing in this post. Empathy. Communication. We all have stuff going on, but “blacklisting a customer” instead of just letting it go and believing that other, new customers won’t see the way a previous one was treated is the fastest way to lose future biz. Your hubris is astonishing.

I recently got a g70, found kharz site on my first adventure into looking for mods, thought it was awesome, lots of things from a single point this should be great!

But now that I have the g70, and been around these forums, and seen posts like this here and elsewhere, I never gave them a chance due to what appears to just be a chronic problem as of late.

I spent today reaching out to the mfgs of the parts I want directly and ordering, thanks to all the contributing members of these forums I knew what to get.

The younger generation has killed brick and mortar and with that killed customer service IMO. Back when you dealt with the local shop you paid a little more but you had a face to deal with

Nick is impossible to contact. I ordered parts on the 24th July, spent weeks trying to get in contact with him to get an order update, sent multiple emails to his business account and finally reached him via FB messenger after tagging him in a post on FB saying I had sent him a PM on the 13th Aug. I was told parts would be out of paint 2 weeks ago, I’ve had zero response from him after sending more emails to his business email address and attempting to contact him via FB messenger. I really don’t want to initiate a chargeback, but I think it’s at the point where I have to, I have zero confidence in his ability to deliver the product I payed for.

oof

not happy you are it seems

well he might have seen this message. I got a response after I posted this. Apparently item is shipping tommorow now.
That sounds eerily similar to the “Free Beer Tomorrow” sign at the pub.

dude really just doesn't answer I don't get it.

originally ordered something, changed my mind and wanted to cancel it. put the order on hold and never refunded the money for a month and a half. had to put a dispute with my credit card.. still doesn't answer even after I did that... this is back in November.... even now the dispute is still open with no response im baffled.

I'm sure he's "sorry the situation has led to this". lol

Exactly why this thread exists and gained traction. The only way we have to hold car part vendors accountable.

If an actual credit (and not debit) purchase, they will write it off at worse. Visa/Master/Discover/Amex all treat this as an insurance claim, they don't have to actually retrieve the funds. It's a writeoff if they can't.

Debit is another story, which is why I always purchase using a credit card. With debit you're at the mercy of the bank and their policies for getting the money back.

I was close to ordering through them but when I saw this thread I reversed course immediately. K8 and KM Tuned have been solid and if I order anymore stuff it would be through them two.

Tuscani Customs is decent too. I've ordered from them before.

Yeah David at k8 always goes above and beyond . Excellent service always

Nick and Hugo at Khartunerz have been behaving the same way for years. Just do a quick search of “Khartunerz scam” and see what pops up. A bunch of customer complaints and a bunch of local friends coming to their defense. is khartunerz a scam?

Two plus years ago… Nick did a good job with the forum.

But even then, Sometimes he was short with people if he didn’t think you were worth the time. But that’s common in the car industry “Bro” culture.

But the last year or so, he apparently is too busy to GAF.

I spent a lot of money with them. It’s a shame.

Always a risk with vendors these days (ask about the Johnny Tig group buy)… some people shouldn’t sell online…
