Hi StingerForum,

My name is Abe Choe and I am the sales director of KEENDESIGN. It is nice to e-meet you! KEENDESIGN is a brand that manufactures hub-centric wheels for KIA and Hyundai. Our wheels are intended to use existing stock OE tires, OE tpm sensors, OE caps, OE lug nuts, while just swapping out the stock wheels. We currently offer 15-18" wheels. Check us out: www.instagram.com/keen.design/

KEENDESIGN will be producting KIA Stinger GT wheels in the near future. With that being said, I am having a hard time finding the Stinger GT offsets. If anyone has the stock offsets and could share that with me I would be grateful.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone.

Thanks,
Abe

Hi Abe. Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Some people love the stock wheels available for the Stinger - some do not. It's good to know that KEENDESIGN is working on alternatives and I hope you get the information you need from the community...

Thank you for the warm welcome. We believe there is room for improvement on the Stinger wheel. KEENDESIGN has already paid and RSVP'd a SEMA booth located in lower south hall for SEMA2017 in Las Vegas this year. This Friday I will be submitting a SEMA proposal to KMA KIA Motors America to request for a Stinger GT to use as our booth vehicle. If any of you have plans on attending SEMA this year be sure to stop by our booth!

Thanks,
Abe

Hi Abe,

Welcome and good luck with KMA.
Co-incidentally we've booked a family trip with some friends and their families to the US in October and we'll be in Vegas during the SEMA show with secured tickets to attend, so I'll be able to stop over and say hi.
All going well I should have my stinger by then but changing the wheels wasn't something I was thinking about doing (at least not right away) but I look forward to seeing what you have and seeing your booth.

Looks nice, would be great to see a custom stinger wheels that get the maximum meat in there, like maybe 265 in the front and 295 in the back without them sticking out, if that is possible.

Hey Abe, great work on Instagram today #keendesign.
What can you tell us on your first impression of the Stinger?
Your the first I know of on this forum who's driven in one.

Marco thank you. Yes I was blessed with the opportunity to drive the Stinger GT v6 twin turbo AWD. I am fortunate that my wife works at Kia Motors America. The Stinger is very spacious and luxurious inside. The seats are Lexus/Mercedes leather, very plush, and smells expensive. The ride/suspension is legit. Going over stiff speed bumps is no problem. Acceleration is good. I read the 0-60 was 4.9 on the RWD. I was in the AWD. The handling is good also for stock height. There is definitely room to lower the Stinger GT 1-2" inches. The Harmon Kardon sound system is good for a KIA. The bass hits pretty good as well. I do like the billet style speakers like the ones in all the new Mercedes. The heads up display was legit. The trunk is huge! The backseats are spacious as well. I am 6 ft and I had plenty of room in the back seat after I had the driver seat adjusted to my driving position. The only thing I was disappointed in was the exhaust note, however, the Stinger I got to drive is pre-production model. I heard that they will be tweaking the exhaust sound for the USA market. All in all I was very impressed. I'm sure the KDM community is going to love Stinger GT.

I felt I was riding with you guys during your live feed. Thanks for doing that.
Every thing you mentioned above is what I was hoping to hear, the ride/handling, acceleration, sound system, leather, and even the size of the trunk which has been a topic of conversation on another thread. Yes I do believe the Australian market as well as the US will tweak the exhaust note, fingers crossed. Regarding the height it would be nice to lessen the gap of the wheel arch's, but not compromising the ride comfort.
How did you find the led headlights, they seemed to light up the road pretty good?

The LED headlights are one of my favorite parts of the car. They are beautiful when lit. The headlights shift directions with which way you are turning. Great visibility. Oh the air vented seats and heated seats are awesome!

Hey guys I just wanted to provide you an update. It looks as thought Kia Motors America will be providing KEENDESIGN with a Stinger GT AWD for SEMA 2017. We are very excited for the opportunity.

Not sure if this helps in respect to the stock offset info you're looking for, but the KIA media site provides this detail about the GT wheels:

8.0Jx19 (front) / 8.5Jx19 (rear)

Folks, somebody enlighten me: what is SEMA and when will it take place. I am only five hours away from Las Vegas, so might drive over to see the Stinger. How does one get into the exhibition hall?
