Newbie here! ;)
Just traded my '16 Mustang in for her on Saturday... Thought I'd share her first daytime pic:

Welcome to the hive and congrats on your new Stinger! Was your 'stang a GT? If so, how does it compare for you? These firsthand accounts are great to read, and informative for those in similar shoes :)

Going from a life of Japanese Imports to a Domestic Pony car was a huge change for me... Most of my peers were surprised I went that route. So when I jumped from the Mustang to the Stinger.... Well let's just say it was the last car my friends thought they'd see me in. Prior to last December's Los Angeles Auto Show, I was aiming at the 2018 Mustang GT and even the SS Camaro..... I think it's safe to say that I had more insight in the Stinger as I have a lot of close friends that work at a Kia Dealer.... Anyhow

As for a comparison... I must say that I have a good feeling that I am gonna enjoy the Stinger a lot more than the fastback stang... From the time I had with the Stinger so far, I can say it hugs a lot more than the Ford; I don’t feel like my back end is gonna screw me over and flair out like I did with my 3 years in the Stang. Acceleration is more responsive of the line IMO. And just the overall feel of the car is definitely an upgrade... I’ve only had the Stinger since this pass Saturday and was only able the hills north east of LA so haven’t been able to fully let her loose... of couse when I do so, I’ll be sure to update my comparison!

So the Stinger holds the road better than the Mustang? That's great to hear. Especially considering the Stinger is a true Gran Turismo. And the acceleration is more responsive off the line? So much for that turbo lag we hear some people talk about. I mean - if the twin turbo Stinger is more responsive off the line than the naturally aspirated Mustang GT - Kia must have got something right. Thank you for this comparison! I'm glad to see you're enjoying the Stinger GT...
