I'm located in Toronto, I got quoted $6000 CAD (I guess about $4500 USD) for a full XPEL Stealth Wrap. Does that seem like a fair price or should I shop around a bit more? My car is black, and I think with the XPEL Stealth it'll give that beautiful satin finish + great car protection. Wondering if that is an "okay" price, or should I continue my shopping?

I think that's about right... I haven't shopped for it myself, but I know someone who had their MB AMG GT-R done with a full clear wrap and he said it was $8K - and they did a great job

It never hurts to shop around a bit, but I would go with the shop that will do the best job

Sounds a bit steep, but might be okay in GTA. My quote for a full Xpel wrap was $4500.

I had paint correction and ceramic coat year and a half ago and my paint is still brilliant, that was $1000 I’ll do it again in a year or two. 4500 just a coat a car to me is unfathomable.

It's a full wrap of PPF, not ceramic coating.

It just financially is a horrible investment for a car that has such typical depreciation and inexpensive replacement parts. I just could not justify spending that kind of money to protect paint on a non exotic. If it offered visual and enhancement maybe but it doesn’t increase value imo

For the price, paint correction and ceramic coating are the way to go. I had it done too when I purchased my car (was more money, because dealership), and I also plan on doing it again every other year. At $1000 a pop, you can do this 6 times for the price of XPEL

I lied :( I'm actually in Vaughan, but just say Toronto because I think its easier for people outside of Ontario to visualize where Vaughan is lol

Sorry, just to be clear, this is the XPEL Stealth, not XPEL Premium. The difference is 30% more expansive, and it offers a satin finish. Like.... The. BEST. Satin. Finish. Ever. Google "XPEL Stealth" and you will see all the stunning cars that have it. It looks absolutely amazing.

I agree completely, having a paint correction and ceramic coat on my black GT Limited, I mean for god sake’s, I’ve never seen a vehicle glow in direct sunlight like this car. I guess each person value things a different way but To me this is not a 20 year investment this is a 5 to 7 year and flip vehicle like 99% of stingers are. 15 mustangs, 11 motorcycles, one C6 and I swore I would keep everyone of them till the day I died LOL there are long gone and the Stinger will be to in 4-5 years

Are you planning on doing any mods to it at all, or done any mods? Or do you usually keep stock cars and sell them when you want to switch?

I modify everything that’s not a daily. I currently run bms intake and jb4 with borla, windbooster throttle control and aftermarket wheels.

I traditionally return everything to stock, sell off my parts...swear I’ll keep the next one stock....buy new car, mod, sell parts....rinse repeat. You can’t reclaim your money on mods worth a damn. It just seems like a complete loss because no one’s going to value your coating when you go back to the dealer, which is where I’m dumping this car so I don’t have to tolerate a bunch of banana heads private selling.

The most painful thing in the world is trying to sell a car. I find I want to shake people with all the stupid questions and their desire to get it for $14… But I’m off topic and I’m sorry it’s your car do whatever you think is best and that you enjoy the most.

I will say though guys buying five-year-old stingers, are not going to be guys like us, they’re going to be kids who want to modify and I just don’t see there being a lot of value resale.

That’s the price I was quoted for a full install in New Jersey which is an expensive area. I ended up doing the full front clip for a little over $1500 USD with a military discount. Did ceramic on top of that. The film is doing a fantastic Job.
He even did the running boards and around the rear wheel well for no extra charge.
