Welcome to the forum: I just saw a 2.0L Premium Micro Blue this afternoon "in the wild".
Micro Blue originally was the most affected color for paint flaws/failures; but Black Pearl is Number One by this (not frequently accessed, anymore, poll)
Discussion of Stinger paint quality (Was - Paint Chip Issue) Micro Blue is second. The poll is misleading, because when most of these votes were added, the Sunset Yellow actually had a recall on that color, and until that was mostly settled, Yellow was way ahead of the rest; then Blue "surged" ahead. "Chips" are actual paint coming off where road attrition would never cause it. If you bother to read through any amount of that thread you'll get the picture. (That thread is the quintessential example of how those with something to complain about flock to the discussion: making it look like the problem is yooge when it isn't: even at that, the largest segment on that poll is "no problem" votes.)
Sounds like you have cracking drip rails; one of the most complained about paint flaws (but nowhere near half of all Stingers, judging by the noise on here). What you do is one of three things: get new ones (under warranty helps, but it's probably too late for that in this case; they come unpainted and that is on you to find a painter that you trust); repaint the current ones; strip and wrap the current ones (oh, a possible fourth option: you strip them to the bare metal and clear coat them; "calling
@rocket23" again

)
