Just got a 2018 Stinger GT2 with a few issues

What were the issues with yrs? Did they ever get stuck in an unusable position?
As of right now, even though my dbl warning light is on, it seems like the up and down is still working and I can still get good front illumination. I don't want an issue down the road when it would be a problem though.

They still worked and I think went up/down, just didn't do the left/right shimmy. Plus the idiot light in the dash was on.

Yeah, mine may be the same too. Just annoying to have that dash light on. esp since this car is only 34K miles. You really shouldn't have any check light on until at least 150K miles IMO... lol... My 2004 G35 with 188K miles still run well with check engine light that comes on once a while but then it clears itself after a week or two...lol

My left headlight in post #4 is what they are "supposed" to do as the startup sequence.
Left as in driver side or passenger side (looking at the car from the front or what you see looking out of the car from inside).
To me, based on how mine works, I think the driver side is the one that is bad.

You're a saint.

Wonder if I can order these.
kiapartsnow.com lists them, like less than $9. But kiaparts.com, when I punch in the number, goes to the page for the old part number, since the TSB was dated June 2022, it might not have made it to all the parts catalogs. Might have to call them to make sure it is really the updated part.

So i should press the dealer to replace these parts under warranty! This is total BS what they are doing to me by refusing to service the headlight problem making some BS about nonexisting tuner parts!!
I would, print out the TSB and tell them to follow it. If it meets the requirements, they should replace it.

Seems like do it yourself and straight forward if I was the OP try ordering the part and do it at home

I don't know what exactly the problem is. It might very well be that but i don't know because that fkin first dealer refused to tell me exactly what the problem is ;(

Also, i have no idea how hard or how long it would take to disassemble the headlight units ;(

It's actually quite easy / convenient.
there is an access port in the wheel well/fender liner.

Does this help.

Can you link me on where you bought it? And aside from twisting and replacing the bracket piece, anything else did you do? Disconnected battery etc?
I ordered the parts from Kia.parts:

No need to disconnect the battery, just remove the two push pins shown on the TSB and unscrew the dust caps to replace the brackets and current foam. Might not be a bad idea to order a few additional push pins as well, since they do break easily.

So there is a happy ending. The other kia dealer i took it to didn't ask any question and replaced the driver headlight within 3 days under warranty. Don't know what the other first dealer problem is .

Now i have to figure out what to do with this loud exhaust. lol
