Hey Guys and Gals, just signed up on here and wanted to say hey to everyone. Never really ever joined a forum but thought i would join to meet others with great car choices and also wanted to share some like experiences with those owning a like car. Well apparently like everyone on here i own a stinger. I happen to be to have been fortunate enough to get the GT2. For those who have driven a GT2 or own one knows all about the feeling fortune part, but nevertheless a stinger is a stinger... a sleek, quick and fast car! After putting some work into the already awesome car i thought it would be fun to take it to some local car shows. I used to own a IS300 and put in some work and took it to car shows so i knew the experience and was cool. But for some reason the stinger draws muncho hater attention (mainly from 80's n older car owner generation) haha...but of course not nearly as much attention as the avid car enthusiast gave it. When i showed up to one local car show it was mainly old school hot rods and some newer stangs and chargers. Lets just say i received a very noticeable unwelcome there lol...but still stayed for my own amusement. It didn't turn into a brawl or nothing but lets just say i wont be going there any time soon. I also wanted to find out where there may be some other friendly and cool local hang outs (So Cal) area for the more friendlier stinger owner....lol ya still a lil bitter. Well let me know if you know of any out here if you can and stay up peeps! God Bless!

Thats a beauty ya got there! I was in the same boat, never joined a forum before, but this is a very welcoming one with lots of knowledge. Your car looks great! Are those stance sf07 wheels? Also what spring/coil overs you running?

Welcome to the hive! Car looks great! - I'm assuming that's a wrap - what's the colour?

Howdy and welcome. (I'm assuming that's a light blue wrap and not a paint job.)

I've been in exactly ONE car show; it was a benefit, one that the care center my mom was at puts on once per year, so, no hate. It was purely spontaneous and random. I saw one little girl write my car down for "best of show".

@trooperducky thanks for the kind words. Thats a yes on the stance wheels on nitro tires.(a trooper would spot these things Had to get a tire size smaller in the back for clearance on the HKS Hypermax coil overs 285/30/20back and 235/35/20 front.

Looks awesome man! Do you now if those tire sizes messed with the accuracy of the speedo at all? Ive been trying to find a straight cut answer to that question. I'm not sure if our cars have a range of sizes we should be in or not.

Thanks alot! Glad to be on here. Yes the IS300 was my 2nd car but was my baby since i had for almost 20 years and and done alot of work on it.

Thank you! Just got back on. Yes this GT2 replaced my IS300 and a Midnight Edition Nissan Sentra..so ya i see this as a win win.

no sir..the performance and speed has improved. Tires make a big difference too...i learned the softer the rubber the better the grip but more pricey of course
