JT 3.3TT CAI Group Buy

Hey guys. Sorry for late reply. Had funeral for a good friend to attend. 2 in 2 weeks

Ok so just waiting on reply from freight provider for shipment of pallet to the US. Robz32 was first in to organise the gb so we are getting a quote to send direct to his workshop and then freight out from there. In regards to filters we buy that many our price is pretty damn good. So we can only drop $100aud off the price for no filters. If the cost of sending in bulk plus freight outwards from Robz workshop is too high we will stay with individual freight of around $200aud. So sorry for late reply, been a crap 2 weeks with friends passing.

If those interested want to supply an email address and their final preference on kit number we will begin sending out invoices soon as freight is 100% confirmed. If anyone wants to speed things up and go with individual freight just send me a pm with email and we will send invoice through

johnny, my condolences.
and, because of some unforeseen issues with a power adder, my fault-i didn't regap the plugs, the mrs is shying away from any add on's for power for the time being. i think she was more frightened than i thought when the plugs cracked and the coil gave up on I-95 while on the way to the cars and coffee. so, to alleviate her fears, and because i enjoy sleeping in our bed as opposed to the couch or the floor, and because i enjoy not having to watch my back upon entering the house after a 15 hour day (like the pink panther when clousteau comes home and kato attacks him, but with more accuracy on the mrs part) i will have to decline being part of the group buy. don't get me wrong, i am all for the cai, but, happy wife, safe life without having a knife sticking out of my back to a baseball bat to the head.

I'm seriously unsure whether I'm going to pull the trigger on this. I'm not inclined to remove the bumper unless I really need to. That said, were I replacing the intercooler (as I'm certain to do at some point in the future), it might make more sense.

Is this group buy about the intakes only? Or can we add other JT parts?

My understanding is that you can opt to not to remove the bumper and leave out the additional ducting, but you would not get the benefits of the larger volume of air hitting the intakes. I followed another thread about removing the bumper and it did not appear to be very difficult. I can't afford the IC at this time, but I will probable remove the bumper for this CAI and install the fog light kit while I have it off.

On my last car the easiest way to change headlight bulbs was to take the bumper cover off. Had done it several times over the course of 9 years of ownership.

This does not look bad at all.

@Kazz removing the bumper is not required, you can install the intake part only and do the CAI part later. I am also inquiring about the possibility of purchasing the intercooler, waiting on confirmation.

I can't believe that I'd be able to swing an intercooler but if Johnny Tig would be able to post a price for his intercooler to those on this group buy that could be a win win for some.

Hey guys, havent forgotten about you all. Obviously being weekend freight provider hasnt got back to us regarding bulk freight cost. Soon as i have an answer tomoz will let you all know asap. Also there has been quite a few asking about cooler upgrades. Going through the figures if we can get a few we can do the cooler upgrade for $1600aud or around $1190usd. The cooler is the latest generation lightweight tube n fin design from Europe. It makes bar n plate look a waste of time. We have had major success with these cores in Australia setting many records.
