I dont frequesnt forums as they mostly dead before but thought i should come by and share knowledge ans answer questions

For refenrence.....

I was the first in the US with the Jun BL EVC tyoe exhaust

I was one of the first with the Jun BL downpipes

I was one of the first to use the Lap3 Chip and one of the first to blow a plug and coil pack because of it

I was the test vehicle used by magnaflow to create the 3.3 magnaflow exhaust (thats my car in their promo vid)

I was the test vehicle for Injens upcoming intake for the 3.3

I was the first to have the JB4 unit from burger motorsports. I drove out to their location to test it out and make sure it worked. (its my car in their install intruction pictures)

I am currently testing out Keendesign Chip

I have Keendesign KD07 20" forged wheels

I have a meth kit installed

List of mods currently on the car are:
KeenDesign KD07 wheels
Snow Performance meth kit
Jun BL down pipes
Jun BL EVC type exhaust
M&S spoiler
The aftermarket place Carbon fiber hood vents and fender vents
Carbon fiber Mirror caps and fuel door
Eibach Lowering springs


If anyone has quesions, ask away. the most common one i get is usually about the exhaust systems

Currently have almost 17,000 miles on my stinger partly because i drove it cross country

Lastly Im not some random guy who drives a lot and get parts for his stinger. I have a close relationship with LAP3/PROSS and have for several years. With their products i built my Optima in my garage to 430WHP and held the record for a while until my friend beat it with his optima we built in my garage as well. HAve been driving and modding kia vehicles since 2002.

My friend, forums aren't even close to dead. :p We get 400 posts here every day. My question is - have you had a chance to run the 1/4 mile with your current modifications? I'd really love to see a Stinger get into the 11s...
 
In for 0-60 times also. Curious to see what kind of power the Stinger can put down with lots of mods.

I would just like to say thank you for having 17k miles on your stinger. I'm coming up on 10k from only 11 miles after purchase in feburary. This makes me feel better...
 
I've been keeping up with him on IG and YouTube... Has one of the best builds I've seen yet. Envious of his cross country trek

Hi, @Kiacruzer! Given your previous experince with the 2.0 and your relationship with LAP3/ PROSS, do you think the LAP3 Uncle chip is a good fit for the Stinger's 2.0 motor? Feel free to PM if needed :)

havnt had a chance but will be going soon as it hasnt worked out with my work schedule but it will be changing in a few weeks

track schedule and work schedule has clashed, that will change in a few weeks and ill make it out to a 1/4 mile track soon

got it down close to 4.0 from the videos i have been taking.
@Kiacruzer Glad to see you on the forums.

How did you install the carbon fiber vent piece on the fender?
These are all overlay items so the carbon fiber is applied to the factory piece which makes it just like installing an oem part

from my experience, you should always use the recommended plugs, install catch cans & run one setting lower than what the US vendor recomends.

id have more miles if it wasnt for the weeks collectivly it has spent out on loan to different places

When you mention one setting lower, are you referring to "power" setting, i.e., 91 vs 93 octane, or are you referring to spark plug heat range?

"POWER SETTING" use 91 setting with 93 fuel and 89 setting with 91 fuel

meth is there to raise octance level of fuel, lower intake temps, and keep the back of the valves clean. Dont need much meth for this and no its wont reaise actual power.

Thoughts on the Jun EVC? As quiet as stock closed? Been considering that as an option but $2k seems steep.
