Joining The Family

My wife had a Scion tC for 8 years. It didn't need anything other than maintenance and some hatch repairs. It did start burning oil the last couple years, though. Good car and more practical than you'd think by looking at it on the outside - just like the Stinger.

The GT2 will be a huge step up in just about every way. Congrats and enjoy it!

Thanks Nasscar!
I really love this color. I wanted my next car to be white but the ceramic silver just stood out to me. The one I'm looking at doesnt have the red interior that I wanted but I'm not upset haha!

Welcome. However, I have to say that the interior color was one of the most important features for me. Personally I wouldn’t settle for anything less than what you want. There are so many 2019 stingers out there you can easily find one with the red interior.

If you tell us what zip code you are in we can help locate one for you.

@Sabs It has been very practical up to this point I completely agree. Very little maintenance needed through the majority of ownership. The past few months tho, Issues have started to present themselves. The burning through oil quickly is one of them.

@Travis Wills With everything this car comes equipped with, and knowing what I've been driving up until now, the interior color isnt a huge deal to me. I do like the straight black interior but like the red just a bit more....besides my wife has an IN with the dealership's around here (St Louis) I should be able to get a hefty discount. :D

I definitely understand wanting to go with a specific dealer. I am sure you will love the car. Good luck with all of the negotiations. Please post some pics when you get it.

UPDATE: Looks like I'll be waiting a while longer for the Stinger GT2 unfortunately.

The final numbers just weren't what we were expecting/hoping they would be (even with my wife's resources)

I will probably look at other dealerships to see what kind of deals I can get. Just to give you all an idea, the final number was $51k. That number includes GAP and extended warranty. This seems high to me but I'm pretty oblivious when it comes to the numbers...although I feel like I've seen many others getting a much better deal.

Anyway I'm hoping this all works out ASAP so I can get my damn Stinger!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Sounds high, GAP should be fairly cheap, no idea what the warranty costs.

I paid 45K OTD for my GT2, with ~5K dealer discount and ~5K balloon loan rebate (immediately refinanced).

Plenty of threads on here regarding what others are paying for their stingers.

Good luck, I'm sure you'll find the right one, lots of dealers are going to want to be rid of their 2019 stock.

How high are taxes where the dealership is located? Some states have pretty low tax rates which can account for a couple thousand OTD.

Koopa, if you are a bit short with budget, why don't you consider a good second hand with very low mileage? You'll be losing only 1 or 2 years warranty but you benefit an extra budget for after market parts to start enhancing performance or either improving esthetic staying below a brand new one cost.

For GT2 cars this typically is not the case. Right now 2019 GT2 cars are going for $40k+ used while new leased cars are going for somewhere around $40k plus tax and fees.

Plus interest rates are much higher on used cars. They have up to 75 months of zero interest on Stingers right now.

There is a ton of manufacturer’s money on these cars right now that wouldn’t be available on used cars.

Your best bet is to find a dealer that is willing to give you the maximum rebates and just buy or perhaps lease a 2019 new Stinger.

Damn, so cheap in US, in France a brand new is arround 60k€ (including an heavy taxe for the v6), I made a great deal with demonstration car from kia on mine, had 7000 km and paid 47k+4k tax. God bless America:laugh:
