Bought 2020 GT2 AWD Panther Metal- Out of state lease buyout
Great sales attitude.
There were add ons on it and I told them I just need to work on with the MSRP and not the add ons, they were pretty nice about it and told me they will.
I was out of state so back and forth email and texting was one of the only things I could do before coming down and they did that so pretty well to be honest.
Everything from credit check to the lease deal, to the final price, they took care online.
They didn't keep coming back like what other dealers are giving B.S Questions, we can compete with them etc, they were independent and wanted to deal exclusively on their own vehicle.
They were pretty straightforward, I asked for a specific discount, they honored it and worked with me till the end and made it a painless experience.

KIA IN North Carolina Apart from the Fred Anderson Kia, all the other kia's I visited in NC are the worst to work with , they are more interested in what other dealers are giving and keep ,and told me to bring the price from anywhere and he will beat it. I didn't.

Burlington and Keffer are the worst. AVOID THEM AT ALL COST.
Hendricks is fine but won't give more discount and will try to add on dealer markup and again same problem of finding a better deal and will beat to it etc.

But anyway this post is about Jim Ellis, and they were good.

Good to know when I’m ready to trade in as I’m not too far from them

Who did you deal with online? If it was Katherine, she was nice but her finance manager is a dick. That was probably my car I was supposed to get that you leased from them. They dropped the ball with adjusted cap cost being wrong 3 times. Kept increasing every single time. Wouldn’t budge on price of “protection package or remove it either which is over $1000. for something I can’t use. I gave up on them last week and now she won’t stop calling.

Yeah i worked with Katherine too. So the finance guy was good and yeah the protection plan they won’t budge but they decreased mine from 825 to 600. That was the only extra I had in mine. For me . I got 10 percent dealers discount plus lease cash discount. Over that I paid the full tax and non tax, doc fee , acquisition fee. I took an extra kia oil change anywhere in world, 7 times as I travel a lot and don’t stay at one place so wanted that. So overall 650 for that.they added dealer addendum but I got that removed and negotiated 10 percent on the MSRP only. So yeah 44k OTD looked good for me. With sales property license etc taxes in Raleigh.

My experience at the sales point was pretty good, but the service and after-sales experience from them has been pretty subpar. If you're going in for a car, ask for James Wood, great salesman. Avoid any "deals" for service after the fact because you're locked into their dealer for service to take advantage of them.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I realize this is an old thread, but I figured I'd post here instead of starting a new one, since I also had a good experience at Jim Ellis Kennesaw GA about a month ago when I bought my 2023 GT2. Larry was my salesperson and he was fantastic and super straightforward without any BS. I'd also chatted in advance of my test drive appt via texting with a woman who takes care of their communication and she was helpful. I haven't had service yet so I can't comment on that yet. Just one important thing to note since I see OP you mentioned shopping from out of state. At the time I'm writing this, this dealership will only sell to clients who live within a local radius of I believe 50 miles, due to their low inventory.
