Jb4 with Canadian gas

I've used Sunoco/petro can 94 (e20) in the stinger exclusively and never had anything close to timing reduction. I've run map 5 in the summer no problem, and recently set the Canadian record of 4.04 0-60 and 12.13 1/4 mile on map 2 after recent mods of primary dp and Fmic. Never once have I seen the car pull timing or ping. Are you sure you know what you are hearing?
Yeah 100% sure. It’s a shame we don’t get petro 94 in bc anymore. I’m
Still on factory plugs. Maybe switching out to a colder plug would help.

Hey KLR, I'm in southern Ontario. I have access to Petro 94 and and essentially all 91s in the area. What gas have you had success with? I'm hoping to run map2. Thanks in advance

I haven't purchased the JB4 yet, but am likely to. Currently, my two choices where I live (western BC) are 91 Octane or Chevron's 94 Octane with 0% Ethanol. I started getting the 94 recently, but this thread has made me reconsider. Right now my car is still stock, so it won't make much of a difference, but if I had the JB4 (and the other upgrades I will be installing) and wanted to get the most power, which of those two should I pick, and with which map? Obviously the best answer is to just have actual tests, but I was just hoping to gain as much information prior to a potential purchase. Thanks for any advice/experiences shared!

I run 91 octane (primarily chevron) on map 2 with fuel wires and have had zero issues. Only mod is intake and re-gapped plugs.

Lets see some logs from a strong pull or two. I doubt you’re not have big timing corrections.
