Anyone know if the Lozic tune for GT2 is considered piggy back? I’m debating between the JB4 and Lozic tune but definitely want a piggy back to start with. Lozic website is not the best from my experience so hard to get info straight from the manufacturer. Appreciate y’all’s opinions!

No it is not a piggy back. It is a separate Ecu that he will send you pre-tuned to what you want from his order sheet. He is extremely busy; just be patient and hit him up on Instagram. He will respond. The JB4 is a true piggy back, Lap3 has a piggy back as well called the pro tuner.
 
The JB4 is a cool product, I still have mine hooked up and will continue to use it for logs and for CPI in the future, probably. Terry is a good guy and knows what he's doing.
That said, a squared away ecu tune is superior. Lozic is good to go, and Lap3 has their act together for sure. For the price, you really can't beat Lozic.

Lozic is a dedicated ECU tune. No piggy.

highly recommend as well with excellent customer service.
 
I WOULD GO WITH BOTH. IF THERE IS REALLY ONE PICK GO WITH LOZIC ECU AND YOU WILL MAKE BIG SMILE. AND THEN LATER YOU WILL NEED JB4 CONTROL OVER WMI OR CPI. FOR STEADY HIGH END POWER. SINCE PEOPLE ARE HUNGER FOR MORE POWER! I HAVE LOZIC ECU 1.5 BOOST READY AND TCU 3 AND CPI. I AM SO HAPPY WITH MY SET UP. I HAD LOZIC ECU 1.5 BOOST READY OFF AND TCU 2 BUT I ASK LOZIC I WANT TO BE FASTER SO I GOT BOOST READY AND TCU3. AND MY O-60 IS 3.47. I HAVE NOT TRIED 1/4 YET.

with boost off and tcu 2 i ran 3.72 0-60 and 11.90 1/4 was my best with draggy. i am hoping 11.50 or less.

That’s awesome! I still have stock everything right now but wanting to tune soon. Gotta go to the track to work on my launch also.

JB4 is a good start for just entering the performance modding world and it can continue to be useful even with you move past a piggyback. The logging capabilities alone are worth the investment. A dedicated ECU from Lozic (it's not a piggyback) will allow you more power and be better for top end. I believe he is getting help with a US website locally, haven't checked it out yet or know if it's up yet. I mainly communicated with him through IG and email.
