Thanks to Alford we've got some really good comparison data between the JB4 and Lap3 1.5 ECU flash on both 93 octane and E30.
I've attached a dyno on E30 comparison, and a 1/4 mile on 93 comparison.
You'll note on the E30 dyno the Lap3 flash is running more boost and more timing, and predictably makes more power as a result. Interestingly it's fuel trims are maxed out and it has more timing corrections.
When you look at the 93 octane 1/4 mile logs it gets more interesting. Huge timing corrections across all cylinders, compared to moderate corrections on the JB4 under similar circumstances.
You'll also note in both cases the JB4 fuel trims remain relatively level.
Overall I'd say this Lap 1.5 flash is too aggressive for 93 octane and not really suitable for E30 given the maxed out fuel trims on only 30%. It's probably best used with WMI. That is just my $0.02 as a tuner. Your mileage may vary.
Being able to do log analysis like this is just one of the many nice features the JB4 offers even if flashed. Using JB4 boost by gear is another one OP was not taking advantage of but would definitely help on RWD off the line.
