Anyone on the forum have an answer? I've seen some figures somewhere but can't find them now. Also if you've have one installed on the 2.0 what's your thoughts and suggestions.
Pretty sure there are plenty of dynos and ohhh wait 2.0 forgot that exists. Anyways yeah, there are some dynos and JB claims good gains. There is a guy here Ryan or something that had the record for the 2.0 before it was smashed and he replaced it with a real engine, I mean the 3.3.Anyone on the forum have an answer? General, thanks for the input. Does anyone have a more definitive answer(Ryan or someone)? General, I have a Roush Mustang and a supercharged 2016 Miata hence, I'm very aware of other engines choices. I bought the 2.0 for comfort and the great styling for road trips. I simply want to upgrade my Stinger which is what I do to all my vehicles. With hindsight being 20/20 I should have traded the Stang and got the 3.3. But I love the Stang's power and styling. Someone with a upgraded 2.0 please help me make an informed decision. Thanks
this is the guy i was talking about. and oh look terry is here. 30-40 whpI ran the JB4 on my 2.0 and it worked great. I opted to get the more expensive HKS plugs but from what I understand the densos work the same so I could have saved some cash. I daily drove my car on map 2 for several thousand miles. It definitely in my opinion is a must for the 2.0 platform as stock it lacks the performance you would expect. Just a heads up the fuel wire is now operabyfor the 2.0 also. Only one wire is used and did smooth the car out under WOT.
is that with no bolt ons or with bolt ons? also, you probably should follow up with "we recommend gapping the plugs".The 2L platform picks up 30-40whp depending on the fuel used and conditions.
@General_Vodka sorry I don’t get on the forum that much. Did you have a question?this is the guy i was talking about. and oh look terry is here. 30-40 whp
Was wondering about your 2.0 power numbers@General_Vodka sorry I don’t get on the forum that much. Did you have a question?
I dynoed it once but due to my lack of experience I didn’t get accurate info. I kept hitting the trans kickdown switch when I was flooring it. The best I did at the track was a 13.7 at 101mph. With the known brake snip and being able leave boost would definitely drop that time more. Was wondering about your 2.0 power numbers
