Hi,

I purchased a JB4 off a fellow member here and just installed it in the car. I don't have spark plugs installed yet, but wanted to at least tinker around with the App in Map0. I followed the instructions, routed all the cables and plugged in everything once the ECU was asleep. When I turn the car on everything seems normal, but in the app I just get 'no device found'. I've tried resetting bluetooth, shutting off my phone (iphone 13), snugging up the bluetooth adapter connection in the enclosure, but I still can't connect to bluetooth. I even held my phone next to the device and it didn't find it.

I measured the voltage coming from OBDII to the enclosure through the green/brown wire cable, and found they were reading 3V and 2V (don't remember which color was which). I'm not sure how this thing is powered but I'm wondering if that's not enough and there's something weird going on with my OBDII? @Terry@BMS

Has anyone else had issues connecting to bluetooth? app is up to date v2.5.5.

Also, assuming the JB4 is currently on Map1, would I feel any difference in the car just driving around not at WOT? I took it for a quick spin around the block and only pushed it to half throttle but the car felt completely stock and no warning lights came up on the dash.

Thanks

Not sure if BMS got an update to the app, but I lost ability to connect once my Pixel upgraded to Android 12.

Interested to know what the outcome was here. Did you find a fix for this?

Bluetooth module was dead. Got a new one and it all worked perfectly
