Just wanting to see if everything is safe. Only mods are the burger tuning 450hp jb4 kit. Also, this is map 2, and I used 3 gallons of e85, and 7 of 93. Thanks!

It looks like you triggered manual logging and then had a ton of short bursts off and on the throttle. At first glance it doesn't look like major corrections indicating knock, but you really need a clean WOT pull through redline in a few gears.

The JB4 should automatically log when you exceed 70% throttle (you can enable/change the threshold in the settings). So just floor it uninterrupted from 20-30mph up to 70-80 (whatever you have room for), and you should have a much shorter but more definitive log.

It should only be one pull, but i guess i messed something up. I hit manual log, and then I floored it from 30 to around 100, and then ended the logging. I'll try it again tomorrow, the way you suggested, thanks!

Maybe I missed it looking on mobile, but I didn't see any 100ish speeds, mostly little bursts from 30/40 to 60. On some your ign2-6 values (timing pulled from individual cylinders relative to ign1/cylinder 1) are 0.8, 1.5, 2.3 which are generally considered fine, but looking again I also see some 4.5s and 5.3s which are real corrections (indicators of knock detection).

You don't really need to go all the way to 100mph, but if you can go WOT from a 20-30mph roll and hold it through a couple full gears, that will let us see how your ign1 (absolute timing advance) builds or gets corrected, and the same for the ign2-5 adjustments. I also did a writeup of how I look at these as an amateur, and it links to BMS' own detailed explanation:

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
It’s either the spark plugs condition or gaps or fuel mixture needs cooler weather. That is making you worried maybe because of little corrections. If you get the EK1 and flash BMS BEF your fuel will be much more efficient for your engine.

Did you switch to colder, re-gapped plugs with the kit?

Your base timing advance (ign_1) spends a lot of time in the 7-8 range, when I would expect you to stay in the 12-15 range. Then your relative timing pulls in individual cylinders (ign_2-6) shows that it's constantly correcting (lots of 4.5s and 5.3s).

Your IATs are on the high side (130+ in some cases), but even so, it looks to me like you're extremely knock limited which is surprising on E30 + Map 2. Maybe Terry will have some better insight.

Yeah, I switched them, and very carefully gapped them. I'm only at 39k miles, but maybe I need new coil packs?

you can reduce gaps I always go 0.23. Change the coil packs if you have the older ones. The new ones have a full silicone boot. I take them from sparekorea.com at around 35usd excluding shipping.

I have a 2019, but I think mine are the newer ones. I'll have to do some research

Changed the coils, and now I think it's good, but if someone with more experience could check it, I'd appreciate it.
