You need a velcro to hold it in place! And get some piggyback cover for it.

Here is mine. I put a heavy duty double sided tape on my JB4 and for the Bluetooth connect.

I used 3M tape to hold the BT module, and a couple velcro strips for the unit itself in case it needs to come out,

I thought one of the advantages of piggyback, like JB4, is to remove it without any traces of the tune before heading into the dealer. Hence, the fuel wire connection without splicing into the OEM wiring.

If you use double sided tape, or even a velcro tape, wouldn't it leave tell-tale signs?
Any concerns for this? Anyone use other methods of securing them that could be removed without leaving any signs?

I'm genuinely asking because I do plan on getting JB4 in the near future.

You can just pull the JB4 with double sided tape. Where is the tell-tale sign of that? Velcro is a different story.

If you are too afraid then just put the JB4 near the brake booster by the ECU.

And as far as bringing it in for oil changes/maintenance do you remove the fuel wires each time and poke a new hole when you're done??

Velcro adheres to the surface using double sided tape. If you can remove double sided tape then you can remove Velcro.

I had mine held down with dbl sided tape for a few thousand miles. It eventually melted free. Now I have it shoved into a little compartment on the driver side. Fits pretty snug and it's easier to remove without leaving any residue behind.

No. I bought a fuel wire harness 02 sensor from Ebay.

Can you post a picture of where you have it installed now? I'd like to have mine hidden instead of sitting on the fuse lid.

Attaching the JB4 adapter to anything metal, like the enclosure, may reduce it's range.

It is spaced somewhat with the 3m tape, and while doing updates signal strength is near 100%.
