3.3TT JB4 Map 2 log check, CEL 061B after

Hey Terry. I tried to get the 3rd gear pull for a map check, and I think I got it. Then afterwards I was in cruise control doing 80, and all of a sudden I got a CEL for 061B, nothing crazy was happening during driving just consistent speed. Cleared code, no issues after. I'm running the 450hp kit with plugs gapped. This is the first time it's happened since installing the kit a few hundred miles ago, the only other time was Map 1 before I did plugs. Unfortunately I wasn't logging when it happened. I have two logs. 1 log is the pull, 1 is a short one and the other is a log started after resetting the CEL.

Known issue with your firmware version and v3.7 JB4 mobile adapter. Update to v16+ and update the app!

Log looks OK but log again after loading up BETA firmware and JB4 mobile app.

You updated JB4 firmware but didn't update to the BETA app. Log looks fine but still has the drop outs associated with the older app.

Hey Terry, here's my log from this morning with the beta app. The app crashed on me multiple times. It was also having issues switching maps. I was putting it on map 8 to bring it to get some work at a shop and it switched but didn't recognize the changed until I disconnected and reconnected and then when I wanted to go back to map 2 I had to try multiple times, same when going back to map 8. The app also crashed multiple times during logging. Not sure if the log will show.

I updated the BT module too upon starting the app.

Just to jump in I updated my 3.7 to the newest 3.25 app build and firmware 17 now and mine does the exact same thing ,lots of the gauges lock up it will let me try to switch Maps but the map never actually changes

Photo of WMI page? Did you turn on wiper map switching by mistake?

Nothing changed except firmware and beta app. Wmi page has nothing populated, and all the sliders are off.

Sounds like an issue with your app not updating maps after changes, drop a note to JB4 mobile support and see if they isolate/resolve it.

I reached out to jb4 mobile app support and they were not familiar with the problems that we're having now with the new upgrades, I have uninstalled the jb4 reinstalled the jb4 I uninstalled the app went to regular version of app then reinstalled beta version of app updated firmware

Any issues like that? Once the v3.7 adapter is updated I think it will only work on the BETA app... iOS or Android?

Yes the normal version would not connect after I reinstalled it so I uninstalled and then reinstalled the beta version it connects easily it just continually locks up and won't change Maps when I ask it to no 0 to 60 times in the logs anymore and a handful of other things hopefully they're still working on the mobile device

I believe the issue is fixed while talking with technical support they informed me there was a new version 17 and I was running the older version, I downloaded the new firmware and just started the car haven't taken it for a test drive but I automatically have my water temperature gauge back going to take it for a test drive here in a while, thanks again to all the technical support from Burger Motorsports and the jb4 app support team's

Hey Terry, new issue here. Went to update maps, updated to latest BT module firmware, now the updates keep failing about 75-90% through. Still on beta app. Tried non-beta app, doesn't work. Beta app connects, but can't finish an update

Best to contact JB4 mobile support for help with that. But on my end do you have a strong signal strength in the app? Place phone next to JB4 mobile adpater and change upload timeout to 25? Those usually resolve any updating issue.

Thanks Terry. Yes, I had the phone right next to it, with full signal. I ended up trying my old Google Pixel 3, and that ended up working. so even though it worked before with my Google Pixel 4. The new update must have changed something and now it doesn't work.

Very strange but let them know! It's been a headache getting the app updates 100% but the ones I've been doing here are much faster and better than before. I use mostly Motorola products.
