I’m looking to get a little more performance . I’m thinking that tuning is the easiest power to start with then so the typical intake and exhaust stuff many do on here. Is jb4 the best ? Is it a piggyback set up ? What system should I go with if not jb4 ?

JB4 is a very good choice, especially for the money and customer service, etc. Based on all the conversation on this forum I'm guessing it's 90-95% as good as an ECU tune in terms of overall performance. Lap 3 is probably fine too, also overseas. Both are Piggyback, but Lap 3 has an ECU tune option as well. Lozic is putting out a good ECU tune but it's more expensive and their offices are overseas, plus they have some fine tuning to do before it's fully baked. I also think it's not quite as dialed in but may in the long run prove itself. But JB4 is a great place to start and can even be used after an ECU tune to really dial in some stuff and provide datalogging, etc. So even if you end up with an ECU tune, start with the JB4. Just my opinion of course... Go here to read all about the JB4: Kia & Hyundai JB4 - N54Tech.com - International Turbo Racing Discussion

Test the JB4. If you don’t like it, sell it.

Will the dealer be able to see the tune ? Or can it be set back to factory settings with no trace if I need to use the warranty?

I’m pretty sure if you’re bringing your car for an engine warranty, they will dig deeper and will see why the ecu went beyond its parameters. If you’re just bringing the car for routine maintenance, they won’t bother.

Just remove it whenever you take the car to the dealer. It only takes about 3 minutes.
