Those are the fuel wires. Best thing to do is get a fuel wire extension like ecko is selling on here or there are some on ebay, and tap into that vs the factory harness. There are some vids on youtube about it.

Thanks for info..Bought a jb4 and no instructions nothing....No clue what to do with this....I have everything plugged into my car now and this is BS..What am I gonna do now
This is for if you’re looking to clean up your engine bay and get rid of the Posi-Taps. I have a tendency to over tighten Posi-Taps which weakens the plastic housing and always makes me second-guess whether the wires are making contact. Due to that issue, I felt it best to get ride of that weak...

or you can always just tap the factory harness with a positap, but as you can probably tell I’m not a fan of that.
Just thought of one other alternative. Leave the JB4 hooked up. Tape up the ends of the black wires and zip tie them out of the way and run the JB4 on map 0 which is disabled. That should work until you get your fuel extension wires.
