I'm looking to purchase a Kia certified 2018 GT2 AWD with 47k miles. Best price I can get from the dealer is $29,695. It's a cash deal as the trade in numbers don't work. My gut tells me this is a good deal but I'm just not sure.
Thoughts and advice? My first post so go easy on me (my current daily driver is a 2018 stinger premium)

The price looks average. But if it's certified, and in good condition, I don't see a reason not to get it. How many owners?

2 owners, MMR on it is $28,700 but I'm not sure how that relates to fair retail price.

it's ballpark. as long as the cpo is confirmed by the test drive(s) and a careful inspection, and you must have the power upgrade, and you can afford it, then why not? I have a 2019 premium and a 3.3l too. I find the driving experience and fun to be almost identical. the only lack is literally a bit of turbo lag and not as much acceleration power, of course. but it isn't that lacking. the 2.0l is nimble and wants to move out. only wot shows any appreciable difference, in my opinion.

Pricing looks reasonable. $5K to $6K less than the other one here for a year older but roughly the same Ks. Certified by Kia. Good.
A couple of tricks you can try to get some more off the price.
Always buy at end of month. You are right at that point. Sales figures run monthly. More expensive start of month. Cheaper end of month for two reasons. 1. They made their budget and the rest is icing. 2. They didn't make budget and need the sale. Usually got to PAY by end of month not order as they need the cash for the books.

Get there two hours before close. No earlier. Waste time. Look over and over the vehicle. Can't decide. Go across the road for a coffee to think about it. Waste time over there. Make sure they have your number to call you....This often gets them worried you will go home from there. As it gets closer to closing time the dealer will be getting more anxious. They could "lose" you if they don't make a move. Wander back if they haven't called you. Say you are "nearly" there but you really need to be at $28,500. Be prepared to walk, say look, I can't afford it, $28.500 I'm tapped out. If they let you walk and you still want it ,come back tomorrow.....let's see if they come at a final price before you leave. It's closing time.......
