DynaPad under the trunk "floor" plus Dynamat the trunk and under the rear seats, plus a little in doors won't hurt. You can DYI it, or pay someone to do it for you... it's a few hundred in materials...

Do the scoops (I assume JA, Big Mouth etc..) actually help at all?

I guess it depends on how you look at it. Maybe I felt a little different but it wasn’t significant for me to say whoa. The stock inlets seem so restricted compared to the ja or other scoops.

I do plan on adding mbrp exhaust next spring. Just to add some sound.
