I've seen some people state that most of the intakes are just personal preference cosmetically and others say that there were legit pros and cons to many of them. I was stuck between injens and bms but is there a big difference beyond their design? I don't care about the price aspect I just want to put my money in the right place when it comes to getting the highest quality product. Has anyone had any bad experiences with a specific brand?

I have BMS. after 2 years they are still looking good and no quality issues. Injen's are nicer to look at, but functionally probably not a big difference.

I have the BMS. Easy to install, less hardware, and no hoses need to swap.

I don't think there is a definitive best. It will mostly come down to your preferences and budget. I love my Injen Intake System. I went with the Wrinkle Red Option. I feel like the Nano filter it comes with is top-notch. It was easy to install and the fitment was great. I can help you out with a discount on them if you are interested in getting a set for your car.

There is the specs provided by the various OEMs but there is not really a dyno'd and flow tested list done on the same car to definitively see the differences in hp, cfm, and 1/4 mile.

Even then, Intakes are also very personal preference because our tastes/needs are all different.
I want improved flow but still keep as much engine heat out as possible (i live in desert so ambient is already 100+ degrees for a good 5-6 months out of the year). Thus the new AFE Takaeda system was perfect for my needs. There are more pieces to install, so it was a little more difficult vs some of the competitors, but I can certainly feel a difference in throttle response and sound. I just recently installed them (only have about 300-400 miles on them), but so far I am very satisfied.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
The best definitely has to be the AFE intake, completely boxed up, proper heat-resistant plastic and a choice of oiled or dry filter.

IMO the aFe system is as close to a true CAI as you can get for the Stinger ATM.
