Is there a way to get seat heating settings to be memorized for next time I drive?

Hi Folks:

I'm new to this forum and the Stinger GT2. I've found that when I turn my seat or steering wheel heaters on, and then park the car, the next time I get it, it has no recollection of the previous settings and I have to switch the heating back on.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get the Kia to remember the settings, and if so, how?

Thanks

You might be able to do that with an aftermarket remote starter but I don’t think the car itself can do it.

Question seeing you have the Canadian version doesn’t your UVO or whatever it’s called phone app allow you guys to do all that including starting your car without having aftermarket mod

Yes and no, it doesn’t currently allow us to control the seat heater but it’s possible it could be added via software update at some point in the future. Right now all I can do is:
  • Check car lock and engine state
  • Start/stop car with climate control set to x temperature
  • Find my car
  • Lock/unlock car
  • Flash lights
  • Horn & lights

My Volvo has a setting to activate the seat heater but I think it only comes on when the temp is low, can't recall because the wife mainly drives it. I have taken it on days when it's warm and it does not come on but on a morning, like yesterday when it was in the 20's, it was on. On that car it comes on at max setting though.
