Is the UVO monthly health report working for anyone?

I'm not having any real luck getting UVO to work at all.

If you want UVO to report, you have to plug your phone in, go to the UVO screen, run the diagnostic scan, and the SEND the report. It will then sync all of your trips and stuff.

I’m in Canada, so not sure if it works the same. When I try to do that the car UVO tells me there is nothing here and gives me a KIA customer relations number.

I can't find a way to do a diagnostic scan on demand. Only the random one that comes up sometimes when you start the car. I've found no other way for UVO to identify my phone is plugged in.

You have the Uvo app installed? For what it's worth, works fine for me on all 3 Kias we've owned. I just plug in my phone, run the diagnostics, and send it like @MurlinatoR describes above. It prompts to disconnect Android Auto if in phone projection mode, but I don't even have to start the Uvo app first.

I called customer service and this is what I learned (specific to Canada, but may also be true elsewhere).
  • They are currently working on the reports and will push out an update soon
  • Updates are sent both to the UVO app on your phone and also your car
  • Your car has a modem in it which connects to cellphone towers on the Bell network
  • The dude wasn't sure if the driver is notified in the car if the software is updated. But I imagine that if an update is pushed to your phone, then it is probably already on your car
  • Other info: the '96 hr limit since last manual start' for using the app to start your car is a security feature. Although I can not think of what scenario it protects me against.
  • It's possible that the app speed will increase after 5 years when customers start paying for the service

Mine works fine. I get an email every single month. I has a table of bunch of vehicle systems and the green check boxes beside them. Tells me how many trips I've taken, how many km's driven. The moving time and the stopped time. It's a little creepy to be honest.

Yup, same here, works fine - I have mine set to the first of the each month
