Hello,

I'm only filling this out in the hopes to rid my browser of the pop-up notification to "introduce myself". I will most likely be a lurker on this forum as I don't post much on social forums. I came from a 2016 VW GTI and although I loved my VW it was time for me to move on. I purchased a 2019 Stinger GTS and I have absolutely enjoyed the 1000 or so miles I have put on it in the month I have owned the vehicle. I intend on keeping the vehicle for the foreseeable future, but I do have a tendency to move on from every car I have had own within two to three years. Anyways, that's me.

Well, welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I'm glad you found us and I think the Stinger is a great progression from the GTI. I'm sure you're going to enjoy it for the foreseeable future. :)

Welcome to the hive! we'd love to see some pics of your new ride!

Lurk away. It's a big forum. :D GTS is what I likely would have if I had waited (the future is always unwritten). But by this point in life, I do not wait. The H/K sound system and moonroof were two "must haves", and the GTS has both, which is very cool. Having Fed Orange available in the 2020 GT2 is kind of annoying, and I don't even have the Orange to get worked up about. Hah.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Congrats and Welcome!

Thank you! The Stinger has been great over the past two months. No complaints yet.

I was very close to buying a GT-line 2.0 at first, but stuck to my guns. I then found a GT demo model and put a down payment on that, but delivery was taking forever. I was able to negotiate down to a price I felt reasonable with on the GTS and the dealer with the demo model sold me the GTS instead. It wasn't the best deal, but it worked for me. I also wanted the HK sound system and hadn't heard great things about the stock one. The orange is eye-catching and looks very good with the carbon fiber accents.
