• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Intro - newbee buying his first Stinger

Congratulations

The coolants are pretty low in these cars anyway. I bought two new ones back in 2023 and both, the coolant was below the low mark and not topped up at the dealer services. I think it's just where they sit.

If you wanted to drop new tyres on and make it new that might fix your hum problem.

I have the original Michelin Pilot Sport 4s on the low km Stinger (8,000kms) but I am expecting them to shred like the other Stinger at 20,000kms.

I put Yokohama Advan sport on at $500 a pop. happy with them so far. I would not let a Michelin tyre near my Stinger again. Pretty pissed that $2000 worth of tyres did that on the front of a rear wheel drive car.

Michelin said it was a combination of the Kia Stinger geometry set up plus the constant auto electric steering adjustment while driving.

The pigs are serviced and ready to fly by the way...........

Can't help you with the ambient lighting. As an electrical guy I would carefully ensure all plugs are located correctly. usually if it aint broke dont fix it so maybe someone Fukced with it.

Good luck. Always good to hear a good story about a Stinger purchase :)
