Interior lights stay on while driving

Recently I started having a problem with the interior lights. They dont go off while I am driving. But once I lock the car go they go off. What seems to be the problem?

Your dome light switch is probably just in the on position. Try pressing this button.

A minute or two (or ten) in the owners manual solved that conundrum for me
