Intercooler, BOVs, Intakes AGENCY POWER / KHARTUNERZ

Im curious if modifying the OEM to vent to atmosphere would cause the car to run rich. Depending on where the MAF is located in conjunction with where its recirculating the air to should tell the story.

If anything mine appears to run slightly leaner than other Stingers running them recirculating.

I am not sure if it is really an issue at all because all aftermarket bov are vent to atmospshere...well ost of them are external

It is not a problem as the Stinger, like many new cars now a days, do not use a MAF setup. The Stinger uses a MAP setup.
 
My understanding is as air is pulled into the intakes and passes the MAF that volume of air is measured by the MAF so the ecu knows how much fuel to mix. If the air is dumped to atmosphere between gear changes you might run rich at those moments because you have vented some of that air.

Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP):

A MAP sensor is typically located inside the intake manifold. It sends the ECU (Engine Control Unit) vacuum and positive air pressure readings to indicate how much calibrated fuel is necessary for optimum combustion. Most turbocharged or supercharged vehicles use a MAP sensor, since there is a turbocharger or supercharger pressurizing the intake tract. In the case of a naturally aspirated vehicle, the MAP sensor will read vacuum only.

Mass Air Flow (MAF):

A MAF measures the mass flow rate or volume of air going into the engine. The two most common kinds of MAF sensors used today are the Hot Wire MAF and the Hot Film MAF. The Hot Wire places a thin heated wire in the path of the air stream to directly measure air mass. The Hot Film version uses a metal film grid to read the airflow. Both types serve the same purpose of providing a particular reading to the ECU so it can trigger the right amount of fuel for proper combustion. Most of today’s cars use the Hot Wire MAF.

What about the intercooler. Im about 2 days away from ordering the UPs with cold side tubing.... unless someone else drops theirs.

I don't ever touch cox.... oh you meant CX :D ya it did until I read some of the reviews. Would save me a couple hundred bucks...

If you get it angel I will do the following

1. Go to Rockford and help you with the install
2. If it doesn't work out ill buy you lunch and a beer so you can forget about it lol
3. if it does work ill buy one as well

Worst case is I return that shit if it doesn’t for as advertised .... but I used cx intercooler in the past on my first build for my is 300 and never had any issues .... I am optimistic

For those waiting on the Agency power intake like myself.....Spoke to them and they will be releasing the intakes next week...they are finalizing the media and the pricing...but i was told that the pricing will be in the $400-$500 dollar range...only time will tell.
 
Breaking news not fake news... Agency Power just released their intakes today. The final price $480. @NICK_KHAR do you when you will have them avalaible ? I personally am going to wait into Nick has the avalaible in his website to get them from Nick ..... @NICK_KHAR maybe Nick will have some to type of deal if we do a group buy or something .... either way I am supporting Nick ...... Let’s try to make a group people and get them from Nick and see if Nick can work with us on some type of packagez.... FYI I am posting this and I have not spoke to Nick so I am not implying any nothing just speaking my mind lol
